Ok, I think I'll consider this option. I'll check if it would be possible to let two building types share one model without making duplicities. If yes, I'll update the mod.

Great building design, and a nice small university. I have to admit it would look great as a city hall as well.

It's not a problem to change inputs and outputs of factories, so you can for example make those 225000 barrels out of one crude barrel or turn plastics into meat (McDonald's?)
I don't plan making such mods (Maybe the McDonald's factory, would be perfect for the 1st April) but I think you can make it yourself. I think it should be possible in the inGame buildings editor.

That's the first thing that came on my mind but then the players would have both variants (also twice saved the same model) even if they wanted only one of them.
I'll think about it and we'll see.

Z tohoto konkrétního teplárnu určitě ne, vizuálně by to nedávalo smysl. Možná se někdy hecnu a zkusím udělat samotnou Maloměřickou teplárnu, ale nic nijak nezaručuji, fakt dělám jen to, na co mám náladu.
Třeba tohle jsem udělal vyloženě náhodou, pač jsem šel kolem a budova mě zaujala. A to mám mezitím rozdělanou sportovní halu Folimanka (Praha), kterou snad někdy dokončím.

You can put both in the same mod, the same building but two versions that each have that function.

I was also thinking about it I've chosen the university instead because I find city halls less useful. However, if there were more requests (let's say two more), I'll re-release it as a city hall.

Maybe there should be a city hall version too? That would work for collecting localized data for production
