I will test this week and report back. only guess is a tile maker changed something without sharing, or something specific to your install thats causing the issue. We will not assume it's a you problem quite yet though. i'll report back soon.
I tried what you suggested, I reinstalled the mods and zomboid, made sure it was in debug and got a different problem instead.

Now there's an invisible wall that blocks sight and movement in the tiles that were question marks before?
Hey, I've been having missing tile problems, is there any way for me to fix this?
thanks for following up on this btw, like i said the map looks good and isn't just a free ride through candyland, the risk complements the reward nicely, i'd have it in every run if i just know the same thing won't happen again. :)
