Description
Hello there Friends of Athel Loren

This mod gives you some campaign visual and ui changes, you will get:
altered currency icons
a wood-elve themed additional resource based on the slave mechanic
regional decrees based on that
a denser forest that has some varaity
a mist effect around your citys
mayor citys are elven citys so you can actualy expand
as orion you have the option to gift a conqured region to a vassal AI named Spirits of the Forest,
who will act as an unbreakable vassal and protect its lands, it will build armies of its own to help you with the defend or expansion of the forest.
everything above has a little lore touche, and you can finde some, regarding the extra resource down below

it should be compatible with reskins, rebanners and any unit adding mod

The creation of this was possible due to a kinde individual who gifted the Wood-Elve DLC to me but didnt wanted to be named

agustinplatz: found the solution for a problem that occoured with the spirit mechanic after one of the great updates

GaretGreed: found a text inconsistency in the description of the spirits

BluebirdSialis: provided a code that made this mod more compatible with other mods AND made it basicly compatible with every future game update, what a great contribution

a little lore to that:
When a Wood Elf perishes, the forest he has tended for so long absorbs his soul and keeps it safe from Slaanesh's hunger. The final result of this transmutation can vary widely.
Most souls immediately lose all sense of identity and meld with the forest. Some spirits wander the paths they walked in life, hidden from the gaze of the most magically intuned,
carrying messages and warnings to those who can hear their words. Others, driven by an undying need to protect their woodland home, take root in deadwood hulks, animating the barren timbers
into the battle form known as Tree Kin. Some elves even believe they have encountered loved ones reborn as wild animals, or as mischievious spite creatures that flit between the boughs

well since you tested it we now know that this mod wont interfere with Forest Encounters
so thanks for that ^^

hope you will finde the solution for the issue or a work arround

Did exactly that at it´s most likely some of the other 85 mods I have currently active.
So I gave up troubleshooting, because it would take a few days. Especially since I´d have to check every single mod on a new campaign, because save compatibility.

to be honest i cant recal what "Forest Encounters" are

it would be rather strange if there is an issue regarding that comming from this mod
but to be 100% certain

disable all other mods start only with this mod and try to reach such an encounter
regardles if you get the issue again or not -> you have your answer

Absolutely love your mod, it´s an amazing piece of work. <3

I have a question I´d like to clarify.
Is it possible that your mod interferes with the Forest Encounters?
If I walk onto it, I don´t get the popup window with choices.

Iam not sure if it´s this mod or if I have to go digging more into my modlist, but since I don´t have that many Woodelves specific mods, this was my first guess.

Is the Spirit vassal compatible with 'The Old World' mod? Tried it out for a little bit, but wasn't seeing the option to gift cities to the vassal.

yes, the ai will automaticly return captured provinces to the player, if they are defined to be returned. now the question still stands -> what regions would the ai return to the player
1. arround specific areas
or
2. simply all but that would remove its ability to grow

The regions that are returned automatically are normally mentioned in the mod script

it seems the one AI occupy. If you set the region he try to occupy to return to player once he occupy, it automatically return the next turn.
