Cut Content: Regiments of Renown

Mô tả
Description
This is a port of my mod of the same name from Total War: Warhammer 2. What this mod does is add 11 cut content regiments of renown into the game; 8 for Skaven, and 3 for High Elves. I call them 'cut content' due to the fact that they use CA-made, fully official, but never used unit selection voice lines. They are available for recruitment in Campaign unlocked via lord level as most other RoRs are, and are also available in custom battles. I have done my best to implement them in a manner both lore-friendly, and to a quality that could best match official content and as balanced as possible. I have tweaked some of the unit's special RoR traits from their WH2 versions. They should all be properly affected by lord skills/techs/etc.

Regiments of Renown
Skaven
The Needless-Less (Skavenslaves)
The seemingly immortal nature of these slaves lends credibility to their brazen claim of being the "true children" of The Great Horned Rat.
  • Ward Save
  • Passive Ability: 'He Watches Me-Me!'; Provides a similar effect to Grimgor's Immortalz Banner.
Clan Rictus Deathvermin (Stormvermin - Sword & Shield)
Much to Warlord Doomclaw's aggravation, the 'Black Death' of Clan Rictus seem to be just as unkillable as the infamous Tretch Craventail.
  • Passive Ability: 'Press the Attack!'; Provides combat bonuses when winning in melee combat.
The Gaseous Ones (Poisoned Wind Globadiers)
It takes a special kind of insanity to want to huff poisoned wind, and it takes a miracle to live an attempt. It takes something else entirely to then get addicted to it.
  • Passive Ability: 'Noxious Fumes!'; Activates an AOE direct damage (aka: mortis engine) that hurts both ally and enemy when in melee combat.
Hallscurry's Chosen (Clanrat Spears - Shields)
Although Warlord Hallscurry is long gone, his chosen still fight with the zeal that The Screaming One expects of them.
  • Frenzy
  • Additional leadership more than just being at rank 9 provides.
Scabrous Elders of the Pox (Plague Monks)
“Oh, but they are delightful, jolly lads. They come up with the most pleasant of diseases, why that lovely little plague they gifted to those stuffed shirts in Bretonnia was truly inspired."
  • Bound Spell: Bless with Filth
The Skurry-Stabbers (Clanrats)
The record lifespan for any rat leading the murderous Skurry-Stabbers is an impressive four days, held by the late Sneer Throtskar.
  • Dual-sword weilding clan rats sporting anti-infantry and increased weapon strength.
Great Claws of Feesik (Plagueclaw Catapults)
As a prominent member of the Pestilent Brotherhood, Clan Feesik enjoys (and very badly needs) continued military support from Clan Pestilens.
  • Active Ability: 'More Poxes! More Buboes!'; increases missile strength, missile explosion damage, and imbues poison on missiles.
Clan Vulkn Fire Tails (Warpfire Throwers)
Clan Vulkn frequently sells the services of their pyromaniacal warriors to the highest bidders, and the Fire Tails don't come cheap.
  • Active Ability: 'Warp-Fuel Flask'; imbues fire weakness and removes spell resistance from enemies in AOE.
High Elves
Scythe of Isha (Silver Helms)
Blessed by the Goddess of bountiful harvest herself, these riders slice through the enemy ranks like a scythe through wheat.
  • Active Ability: 'Blessing of Isha'; Provides perfect vigor and regeneration while morale is high.
Eagle's Beak (Eagle Claw Bolt Throwers)
It takes Ulthuan's staunchest defenders to man the gate fortresses that guard the island's inner ring from invasion.
  • Armor sundering missiles.
Reverants of Khaine (Spearmen)
Sworn to defend the Blighted Isle, the Reverants see to it that the Widowmaker will not fall into the hands of the Druchii.
  • Active Ability: 'Murderous Expertise'; Provides the benefits of Murdeous Mastery.

Updates
6/26/2025
  • Updated for Patch 6.2.1. Updated entries on unit tables, should fix The Skurry-Stabbers not getting the faction bonus of Clan Rictus. Fixed The Gaseous Ones "Noxious Fumes!' ability, now correctly does poisoned wind damage to allies and enemies in melee combat.

Check out my other mods!

Fixed! Thanks.

I just wanted to give a heads up but it appears that Noxious Fumes from the Gaseous Ones aren't working currently. I did a quick test in skirmish and it doesn't display any damage on the ability itself and it didn't seem like the damage was applying either.

is it possible for this amazing mod to include this RoR when playing skaven clans mod from stratovarius? or would it need a fully-fledged submod for that

Is it OK without update, guys?

Think I found a bug. "The Skurry-Stabbers" Clanrats RoR added by this mod does not gain Tretch's faction bonuses of increases armour and weapon damage per rank while the base game RoR "Clan Vulkn Tailslashers" do. Tretch's faction effect is supposed to affect Clanrat and Stormvermin units. I'm not far enough into my campaign to check if the Deathvermin are also not gaining the bonus, but if I had to guess then they probably don't.

@Nordy
It should, but I'll be updating some mods today so hang tight if you want to be sure.

Just wondering: does this work with the newest 6.0 update? Since I see this mod is not updated yet.
