Description
"The Pulaski Axe, named after Ed Pulaski in 1911, is a multi-purpose hand tool which combines the capabilities of an axe and an adze, making it an essential tool for firefighters and outdoor enthusiasts alike. The handle of the Pulaski is typically made from durable materials such as plastic or fiberglass, ensuring its reliability and longevity. Its versatility has made it a popular tool for a variety of tasks, including trail construction, gardening, and even as a weapon in the heat of battle, as it is often carried by Spartans and Orbital Drop Shock Troopers. The Pulaski's primary cutting edge is its axe blade, while the adze blade serves as a secondary tool, making it an effective tool for constructing firebreaks, breaking through root-bound soil, and other digging and excavation work. Its effectiveness and versatility have made it a prized tool in a variety of situations."

Type: Fireaxe

This mod replaces the Fireaxe in L4D2 with the Pulaski Axe from Halo: The Master Chief Collection. It comes with custom animations based off the Gravity Hammer recreated by myself. This mod is tested and works for online play in Left 4 Dead 2.
Includes Inspection animations and Holster animations.
Includes Run and Walking animations that change based on player speed.
Includes Fidget animations that play at random when idle or walking.
Replaces the HUD icon.
Blood Detail Textures when it makes contact with organic flesh!
Mod-a-Mod support for modders to easily create skin mods to apply to the base mod.

I would have considered this, but the axe makes random "thud" noises when doing it's inspect animations and it gets annoying. Same with the golf club mod you made

@Pavus probably have a mod conflict as the fireaxe uses custom animations. if it uses the default L4D2 animations then something is replacing mine.

This is probably just an issue for me, but thought I'd mention it anyway. When I put this up, the world model is correct, but the FPS shows the default axe and animations.

@Sketch I used the reach overhead swing as it's shorter and no longer causes the swing delay when playing offline.
