British Rail VEV/VEA Vanwide Wagons

Description
British Rail VEV/VEA Vanwides.

During 1962, 2,000 Vanwides were built for the transportation of palletised and general goods. This represented the ultimate development of the traditional 12t van. With the introduction of TOPS these vans were coded as VWV or VEVs depending upon their bearing type. Many remained in service into the late 1970's due to necessity of short wheel based vans. Several batches were converted for air-braked operation during the late 1970's and early 1980's and assigned the TOPS code VEA. These VEA's ran at 75mph and were seen across the country as part of Speedlink services. With the reduction of MOD traffic during the early 1990's the fleet of Vanwides was greatly reduced. A more detailed description of the history of this type of wagon can be found here: https://www.ltsv.com/w_profile_028.php

This mod consists of the following Vanwide varients:
- VEV Vanwide - BR Bauxite (1962)
- VEA Vanwide - BR Bauxite (1978)
- VEA Vanwide - BR Bauxite with Railfreight stencil(1982)
- VEA Vanwide - Railfreight (1982)
- VEA Vanwide - Railfreight Distribution (1987)

Model includes animated doors, custom loads, support for Expanded Industry cargo types, placeable assets (doors open or closed) and 3 levels of detail (LODs).
