UPDATED for 1.9.1 "Lance" and "Tours & Tournaments" dlc

What this all about?
The mod is designed to bring more flavor and variety to ck3 by replacing existing vanilla men-at-arms with custom one created by me to bring variety to as many cultures as possible and give them a more distinct look

The main goal is not only to give different cultures different names for men-at-arms but also to make them different from gameplay perspective

Whether I did it or not is up to you to decide

Features
  • A whole total of 215 new men-at-arms! - historically accurate and culturally appropriate
  • Army Evolution - over time some cultures will develop new men-at-arms units that would replace the old one (mostly for 867 start)
    • For example, you will see the slow transition from army of Franks into the armies of France and Germany
  • Variety of Armies - different cultures have access to different men-at-arms not only in terms of flavor but in terms of gameplay too
  • The Scale - as of now there are different armies for cultures stretching from Iberia and into the Mongol Steppes
    • Western Europe
    • Eastern Europe
    • Balkans
    • The Great Steppe
    • North Africa
    • Middle East
    • Persia
  • New Icons and Arts - new icons and arts for most regiments to better represent and distinct them

Recent Update:
Byzantine Army Expansion
  • 35 new or reworked Byzantine men-at-arms
  • 3 new armies and new Border Troops feature
    • Imperial Army for the Emperor of Byzantine Empire
    • Provincial Army for Imperial subjects of Byzantine Empire
    • Border Troops for Imperial subjects of all cultures if their domain located on the Imperial Border
    • Degraded Imperial Army for those who are no longer part of the Empire
  • Tons of new Icons and Arts, both for Byzantine Army and for other Army Packs

Somewhat important notes
  • Cultures that are affected by this mod will no longer be able to hire vanilla men-at-arms anymore
  • Affected cultures are optimized for diverge or hybridization with other cultures
  • If any problems occur with cultural divergence or hybridization feel free to report in the comment section
  • All of mine previous army packs such as Byzantine Army , Nomads Army , Kievan Rus Army and East Europe Tribes Armies are integrated into this mod and updated
  • If you think that there is a better name or art for particular men-at-arms regiment then feel free to ask for a change in the comment section

Compatibility
Only window_menatarms_type_view file is important for this mod to work properly, that's why it should be compatible with almost everything

00_cultural_maa_types file is used to add new arts, icons and code to vanilla cultural men-at-arms, this file is not important for mod to work properly

More Bookmarks+ compatibility is build in
-Load my mod before MB+, it should look like this:

- Localization for any language rather than English is not build in, you need to subscribe to localization you want because they are a separate mods

Hi, does anyone know how to get the komnenoi army decision to unlock the innovation? I had formed roman empire from byz keeping main culture greek way before than the high medieval era begun and yet the decision doesnt appear and the innovation is blocked. I'd be insanely grateful if one knows what triggers the decision
