Artificer Class

Description
Adds an Artificer class to the game.
Artificer is a versatile class that specialize in items.
They are able to craft items and use them in ways that other classes cannot.

Beware: Although powerful later on, artificers have a weak early game, and require a good deal of item management to succeed. This class may not be for everyone.

or maybe just add the Steamtech to that craft window if all the requirements are met?

ok, one small gripe that really grinds my gears with this otherwise awesome class, Why can't I get the same level of crafting with my Steamsaws and pistols that i can with a metal bar or wooden stick?

why can i not add the fun crafting toys to my boring white steamsaws? :(

Would there be a way to have the augmenting and component assembly screen be accessed so we can mod our steamtech too?

This is a niche issue that doesn't really affect normal playthroughs in any way, but trying to disassemble an item affected by Cursed Aura spits out an error and doesn't do anything.

@Deathdeviant Yeah, I'm not surprised it doesn't work with other addons that add egos. It took a lot of finagling to get it to work just with the vanilla ones. In the future though I might be able to add compatibility.

@TheFirstPaige There is. It increases the probability of certain good events occurring and decreases the probability of certain bad events occurring during a fusion. But the chances of those events occurring is also influenced by an instability factor, which is higher the more power sources are involved and the more dissimilar the two things being fused are, so the description can't really give an exact number.

That said, this only has an effect on fusions that involve a non-component item. If you are fusing two components, the talent level does nothing (so if you only intend to use Fuse Items to recycle egos you don't want or to combine biological components together, you can just leave it at level 1)

Is there any reason at all to invest more than a single point into Fuse Items? The tooltip's very scarce with info, and while it does mention it scales better with investment, it doesn't at all mention what exactly it can do at any level.

This class is honestly one of the more fun I've played in a while, though. Good stuff.

Great Addon, Class can be a bit rocky to get off the ground but the Talents are really cool
NOTE: Your addon does not play well with Loot Expansion (Crashes during the dismantling phase)
