Loadout Fuser

Description
This mod adds two new objects to the game:

-Loadout Fuser
-Loadout Seperator

They can be crafted at the Lvl 1 Inventor's table

Ever had a weapon or item that looked so cool with an armour or vanity set but nothing else?

Well, now you can assign Armour (and/or) Vanity sets to weapons!

To do this, place the item of choice in the Left-Hand slot of the Loadout Fuser and the armour pieces in their given slots and press fuse!

To undo this, simply place the Item in the Loadout Seperator and press Seperate!



The objects themselves are not multiplayer friendly, however anything that is inputted or outputted by them will not change whether or not they are multiplayer friendly


Notes:
-This does overwrite any equipped armour/vanity items you may have equipped, but these are NOT DELETED! Merely temporarily replaced
-Upon disconnecting with a toggled loadout, the outfit you have underneath will be saved, and nothing will be lost.



To spawn the items:

/spawnitem loadoutfuser
/spawnitem loadoutseperator

Seems to kinda break the game and lock up all your controls/mouse movements until you tab out and back in and then do it again if youre holding the item out if youre using Carlucci's inventory. Kinda like its queueing your actions while its busted.

I probably found a bug. I put the EPP in place of the weapon, then the fuser connected it to the armor. The result was an EPP, which I put in the character’s EPP slot and this EPP just disappeared! I did this twice, the second time just EPP without armor, it also disappeared.

this mod is pretty good wiht a mod that adds liike armor wiht bonuses to specifi weapaons that would be cool

Oh, and no. With the way the mod is currently set up, it can't be used to change the clothes or armour of crew members individually. (Fortunately, there are other mods on the Workshop that can do that.)

Intriguing mod. Might I mention that you consistently misspell "separator", "separate" and "separate" everywhere in the mod's code, LowPoly? That aside, can I make and upload a multiplayer-compatible version of the mod (that uses Stardust Lite), crediting you?

Cool mod!
At first glance, this mod seems like a cheat, but it's not. Cheat mods make the game easier and more boring. But this mod makes the equipment game mechanics more complex and interesting! The obvious thing, which is not immediately visible, is the consequence of combining armor with weapons - the armor itself will be removed as soon as you switch to something else. Thus, you need additional armor if you do not want to be left without protection. This is good - it will force the player to spend more resources on equipment and think more carefully about the tactics of their actions, but only if necessary.
