La Datcha | Explorer yacht

Description
Official versions and vehicles collection

Description
Are you in for a luxurious and adventurous trip around the isles of Stormworks? That's now possible with the explorer yacht La Datcha. She is capable of accommodating 12 guests with a crew of 12. La Datcha is also equipped with 2 jet skis, a 28ft tender, and a helipad at the back, making it easy to get to shore and explore the landscape. There are multiple lounges throughout the vessel, so you can always cruise in comfort. If it's time for some refreshment, you can take a jump in the swimming pool located in the spa, where you can also find a sauna, steam bath and a jacuzzi.

Two years and several refits later she is finally finished and ready to set sail.
We hope you can have a fun time, bon voyage, behouden vaart!

As some you of you might have noticed the yacht is mainly inspired on La Datcha, or Seaxplorer 77 launched and build in 2020 by the shipyard Damen. We have tried to follow the deck plans as best as we could. This was not always possible because we had to scale the vessel down to 55 metres so it could fit in Stormworks.

The code of the scuttle button is the year when the real life La Datcha was launched.

Instructions
  • Wait untill the tender doors are fully opened, before you slide them out to prevent total destruction ;)

Sooo haha. Okay I have a story to this.
This is my go to ship in the game and I have modified it a lot
I’ve added:
a shovel bow
20,000 force propellers
Used the same engine, turned up the RPS by 6+ and adjusted the gear box ratio to 1:3 and at full throttle and achieved 40 knots think (or to the point it looks unnaturally fast. Then I had a major cooling problem (made sure pumps were on) and found that the cooling solution was a bit out dated, the cooling loops are insanity long and used multiple radiators with a series of pumps. So what I did was shorten the cooling loops, figure out how modular engines work and added a galore amount of cooling loops and coolant manifolds. I’ve yet to test it once I’m back home.
I repainted the entire ship a navy blue and called it a sister ship.

In other words it helped me to figure out storm works in 27 hours of playing and I love it

Do you think you could make a version with more tenders and toys onboard to really be able to explore. Dive tender, submarine etc

@Lord_Aleks,
I did some testing of my own and the problem didn't occur.
Might it be possible that you've turned on the autopilot?
