Great mod ! Unfortunately i think it doesn't work anymore, the Glory of the Phoenix pack makes it crash

Well, in short: Decky's mod is compatible wth one grand more tech mod per race as it leaves vanilla tech untouched, so just add one for each of the major races as well or even two (e.g. for Empire: Empire Allegiance Technologies, Obo_Technologies "Techtree Expanded" plus Decky with patch that lets them run together)

But hey, to each his own. Decky's tech trees does not boost lob-sidedness in a big way. Tech tree mods are used by the AI, and while they lack the "real IQ" or strategy to e.g. go for extreme buffs (e.g. focus on tech that will give research speed buffs).

AI will benefit less than a good human player for sure, but the fact that Decky's tech tree comp actually gives your opponents "comparable" options, across races, with 1 mod and nocompatibility hassles makes Decky's tech compilation mod a unicorn, a straight up 100-of-100 mod for me <3

@Mac Don't agree, being OP and "coloring the map" is one of the most frustrating things in a TW campaign. Usually, as soon as I realize I can now start taking settlement after settlement, it's 5 mins before I start a new campaign.

Having fun with artillery or elite troop doomstacks, having 12 powerful heroes in one army or other unstoppable situations can be fun, sure. So is playing a campaign with Double Unit Sizes mod for more "epic" battlesI Also cool if reach a point where you never were (e.g. having unlocked all units), but autoresolve lob-sided fight after lob-sided fight... gives me yawns.

I honestly think the best thing about mods like this is the ability TO become OP. it sorta makes the endgame more satisfying taking a tier one unit and seeing it fair well against an enemy of a higher tier

I bless you
