Arma Realistic Map Assets V2

Description
Assets for map generated with GameRealisticMap for Arma 3[github.com].

Dependencies

Dependencies varies upon used content :
- Sahel trees requires CUP Terrain Core
- Sahel base world (arm_sahel) requires JBad

Dependencies have not been set in Workshop to avoid imposing them if you use only a subset.

For end-users you should add dependencies on your map / mission to avoid issues.

License

Licensed under APL-ND.

License exception : PBO of this mod can be freely re-distributed / re-packaged with maps generated with Game Realistic Map for Arma 3 to limit dependencies to strict necessary. If you choose to re-distribute / re-package, you must keep explicilty APL-ND license for the used PBO files.

@GrueAndre - A 'signed mod' has nothing to do with that. It is just a 'security' check that says that 'xyz' mod IS from the REAL author and not some 'fake' author.

Though below is for ARMA 2, it STILL is true and VALID TODAY:

"Addon signatures are a way to reduce cheating in Armed Assault. They are used to detect data files modified by anyone else but the addon creator. They are based on strong cryptographic principles (private/public key pairs), therefore hacking around them is very hard.

Addon is signed by its creator using a private key, while the public key is used by the game to verify that the addon has not been modified. "

As a mod author myself, I have NO CLUE as to the error you are seeing, if anything, I would suspect THIS MOD is 'calling' for OTHER MODS, thus the 'incomplete' warning, which is 'detected' by ARMA when reading the mod's config file...JUST A GUESS.... ;)

@GrueAndre Can you fix the mod key as it currently causes Arma 3 luncher to flag this MOD with warning message: Partial data + addidtional data. People make nice maps with your MOD and most of server Admins like their servers clean and not load these maps which is a bib waiste/loss.

@Luk_161th - You're more than welcome.

You will see the 'different lights' and you can still join. As stated, personally, I just ignore. If I join, I join. If I can not, I do not have a certain mod(s) loaded.

Again, I would also just ignore it. If you can join, it IS working! ;)

Do note, my 'knowledge' on SOME of this is 'Alpha/Beta ARMA', so some of it MAY have changed...I do not think so though...

And you see this with MANY mods, not just this one, thus why I just IGNORE IT. I got the mods? I can join... That's it.

Hey Machine Gun Kelly, I appreciate your feedback. I hope this mod is fixed so it can be used on dedicated server as there are many good maps depended on this mod. Perhaps something went wrong during mod signing? Obviously need more attention.

Since I am NOT going to load ARMA to 'verify', I will tell you what I THINK it is:


#1:
I think the green icon indicates that it is NOT an 'official' ARMA/Bohemia item, where as red does.

You will see this 'green icon' with other mods too, and has been in A3 for years, if not since the alpha version (do not remember, so long ago).

PERSONALLY, if I see the mod list and I have the mods listed, I IGNORE ALL icons...and just select JOIN.

This ALSO could be when (and I do not your 'knowledge' of A3), but Bohemia changed the format of mods of units, vehicles, things, etc. It is POSSIBLE, that this mod has the OLD format, thus what you see. Bear in mind this 'format swap over' was about 7+ years ago...so it may not be the reason...and as THIS has been many years ago, I am not even sure if the 'modern' A3 can even use the 'older' formats anymore...?? ;) I do NOT think this is the reason and I think those old formats are DEAD.

The A3 launcher was never known to be the 'best' launcher around. As an example, you can not put a space in a profile name, yet you can go into Win Explorer and put in the space and the launcher will work with it and SAVE it JUST FINE! YOU just can not create a new profile and put a space in the name (via the launcher), so it is NOT the 'best launcher' around, i.e, this MAY be a 'bug'.

Just do what I and appears what others do too...you got the mods, just select JOIN and ignore everything else! ;)

When this mod is loaded on dedicated server Arma 3 luncher shows server with question mark. Otherwise it works OK. Warning message in Arma luncher states: Partial data + addidtional data. Does anyone knows solution to it?

Sorry if this is not the right place, but how do you go about adding CDLC assets to an asset configuration? I have seen options for the official DLCs and mods, but not CDLCs like SOG.
