Description
Preface
Version 3.0 (stable)
This is a periscope-control shuttle, won't be displaced in the sell list in the game. Installed on my other submarines.

Remark Class
The Remark Class shuttle is a versatile model developed by the Europa Union Design Bureau. Based on the drone on Dugong-U101X, it serves as both a protective escort for deployment missions and a heavy gun platform. With the addition of advanced periscopes, it can even be upgraded to serve as a spherical turret on mother ships. Its armored exterior utilizes hardened technology, enabling it to withstand a decent amount of damage without leaking. The external storage facilities provide great convenience for collecting resources. Internally, the shuttle features a series of clever layouts that maximize space utilization while providing a basic life support system for personnel on field assignments. However, due to its high integration and expandability, even as a general-purpose model, it comes with a considerable price. When equipped with large-scale weapons, its total cost can exceed that of a Dugong-class submarine. Nonetheless, its exceptional design continues to attract numerous captains and sailors.

Design Bureau's Instruction Manual: The shuttle, carrying armed personnel for deployment, is controlled by the captain to reach the mission site. The self-contained heavy gun, controlled by the crew inside the mother ship, collaborates with the personnel in the shuttle to complete the mission. The vacant weapon holder can place heavy weapons from the deployment team, while the small storage compartments can be configured with toolbelt and storage container cases. Collected resources can be placed in secure cabinet/ammunition racks outside the shuttle. Throughout the mission, the crew inside the mother ship remotely operates the shuttle's artillery to provide fire support.

The shuttle has only one airlock, which remains locked in the open position when docked with the mother ship. Once detached, it automatically closes and locks. The lever behind the seats in the shuttle serves as a safety switch for the hatch and allows the hatch to be opened only when pulled down.

Please exercise caution when opening the hatch in open waters, as rapid flooding can cause the shuttle to sink quickly. It takes time for the pump to drain the water, and it can also damage the equipment inside the shuttle. The electrical equipment inside the shuttle has been enhanced for waterproofing but still far way from the complete waterproofing. When installed on the Lemma II, this shuttle can be equipped with railguns to compensate for the mother ship's lack of heavy firepower.

The interior of the shuttle is equipped with diving suit cabinets, weapon holder, and small storage compartments (3 slots). Internal supplies need to be configured manually. The shuttle does not possess self-control or defense capabilities. Corresponding capabilities are controlled by periscopes on the mother ship and the shuttle terminal. The periscope inside the shuttle is only used to control the searchlight on the upper left side of the shuttle and adjust the light switch. (turn off in default)
