Description

Hiding!

You are in a difficult situation, something is chasing you. What do you do? You hide yourself!
However, this feature is not available in PZ. This mod solves that problem.

How does it work?

You can hide anywhere that makes sense, such as beds, wardrobes, some desks and tables, garbage cans, etc.
Cars are not an option unfortunately. To hide, just right-click on the object and click "Hide".
You can exit at any time by moving, pressing esc, etc.

Advantages

You can hide from zombies and players, allowing you to avoid their pursuit.
This is a flexible mechanic, allowing you to hide basically anywhere!

Disadvantages

It takes considerable time to hide, you can't do that with an attacker right next to you.
You'll also be unable to see while hidden (Barely, in SP). Lastly, hiding will give you debuffs.
Staying hidden will either bore you over time or, depending on the hiding place, freeze you out or make you sick.
Unfortunately, you cannot see how affected you are until you exit, due to a game limitation.
You can comfortably hide for 30 minutes or more without major consequences.

F.A.Q

Does it work in Multiplayer?

Of course! However, this mod includes teleportation and invisibility (For Player safety).
So if you get flagged, please disable the anti-cheat.

Does it work on existing saves?

Absolutely!

Is the mod compatible with [...]?

This mod shouldn't have any incompatibility with other mods.
You can click here to check which mods are known to cause problems.

Can players or zombies attack me?

No, nothing can attack you while you are hidden. In the future, I will make it so that players can manually search for it and forcibly pull you out, and zombies will have a chance to notice you.

Is there a way for a player or a zombie to find a hidden player? I feel that this mechanic could be very OP for players to be virtually "invulnerable" when they are hidden

This mod conflicts with the barefoot moddle mod. When you use the hide option, the barefoot moddle appears and does not disappear until you re-enter the world. But amazing mod anyways, the barefoot isn't that necessary.
