Description: In the present day, various Zemplix "species" already exist, although the differences between them are so subtle that one likely wouldn't even notice them.

But if we do the Next Earth thing and travel into the future, we meet the Wing Walkers. Going in the opposite direction of the Tallplix, the Wing Walkers came into existence due to the extremely high gravity of their planet. They almost devolved, the high gravity of their planet forcing them to become smaller and flightless. Their arms completely fused to their bodies, leaving mere protrusions on the sides of their head rather than proper limbs. They did not get any less intelligent, however. The Wing Walkers became the Wing Walkers as we know them after kindly asking to be brought somewhere more comfortable for them. And so, they were sent to a low-gravity planet. This resulted in what used to be their legs now becoming their arms, and what used to be their wings becoming their legs. And all of this happened in just 100,000 years! To think this is still a "first-generation" evolution...
