The Firaxus-based energy is a common energy weapon use by Guardian Characters civilization of Midgar and beyond, it was developed around G.C. 39XX by Royal Midgar Research Department prior the formation of Isla Kingdom. The Firaxus shoot a powerful blue plasma that exploded on impact that could blow up a people's limb easily and very painful when get shot as a single Firaxus hit could burn a skin.

Since most of Gamalatican firearms are energy weapon, they has determinate these projectile size based on ancient human organization's cartridges from "NATO" (Northern Alliance Treaty Organization) and "SEATO" (Southeast Arasia Treaty Organization), two most powerful military alliance in Mortal World which exist around seven million year ago before their demise in nuclear war which how Midgar became today.
