UTHI LR204 LR304 and LR306

Description
Gay and trans rights are human rights. If you're against gay and trans rights, you're against human rights. Actions to violate human rights are always crimes against humanity. Those who are against human rights should be excised from your life, and any communities and groups you consider worthwhile, just like any other tumor.

NOTICE: It is highly recommended you turn off "train rotation smoothing" under Gameplay, when using these. They'll look rather wonky moving around curves otherwise.

The LR204 was UTHI's first true locomotive, introduced in 1954. Previously, they had been a manufacturer of electric forklifts, including a package that could turn one of their larger forklifts into an adequate railcar mover. A bit longer than an EMD GP9, it slightly outclassed the Geep, both in pulling power and reliability (UTHI had basically lucked into a prime mover design that would set the gold standard for locomotive reliability). By the 1970s, orders for new LR204s were few and far between, and the model was discontinued. After the 1992 expansion of the company's production facilities, a few LR254R1s, the updated and improved version, would be produced for a handful of shortlines, but the majority of LR254R1s were rebuilds of LR204s.
The LR304 and LR306 were introduced a year later, and hit the proverbial ball out of the park. Not only were the 3000hp units more powerful than equivalent units from the other manufacturers, but the four axle LR304 had an enormous fuel capacity that gave it incredible range. A few LR304H units (h=heavy) were produced, on request, which diminished the fuel capacity and replaced some of the fuel tank with a container full of sand or even lead, to add a few tons of mass for better tractive effort. As UTHI's rivals caught up in the 1960s, demand and production of the LR30X series diminished, though the energy crisis of the 1970s would yield renewed interest in the "long range" LR304. The 1992 rebuild program brought the locomotives up to 3600hp, which was unfortunately below that of their rivals.
