British Rail Class 47

Description
The Class 47 was built in the early 1960s for British Rail as part of the modernization plan that aimed to remove steam by 1968. 512 locomotives were eventually built, making them the most numerous class until the appearance of the Class 66. They were initially rated at 2750 hp but they were later de-rated to 2580 hp due to engine reliability issues. They were seen on every type of service across the network. The class started to be withdrawn in 1986, ending in 2006. Currently about 30 locomotives remain in service with various private companies. 33 were also converted into Class 57 and re-engined with EMD units.

The model is available from 1962. 20 examples are modelled.

Features:
- Reversible
- Dirt and rust
- Custom audio
- Each loco is also available as a track asset.

Max speed: 152 km/h. 47717: 160 km/hPower: 2051 kW / 1925 kw (2750 hp / 2580 hp).
Tractive effort: 260 kN.

Thanks to funclive and cw_315 for reviewing the model and providing input.

@Cule729: it's a completely different mod, so there's no need to uninstall the killakanz one.

Does this work with the old class 47 mod or should i uninstall that first ?

@ Quince: nice to see others are doing cl47 mods too. See my message on our chat.

I'm in the middle of a livery pack, but am having trouble with the nameplates. They all seem to place opposite each other on bodysides, rather than offset each other to opposite ends like those on the 56s. An example is 47581 Great Eastern which I've put in NSE (early) and whilst I can get the nameplate in position on one side, it is way off on the other. I've resorted to putting them on the main body textures with custom MGA and Normal files to at least make them look 3D. Is there anything I can do with the mesh positioning to use the 3D plates that you've made rather than this workaround?
