Description
The Revolution mod brings Radar enhancements, a more immersive fog-of-war for island captures and
other features.

v1.5:
  • EW - Electronic Warfare target fuzzing
  • HUD assistance for guided/cruise missile operation
  • HUD horizon ladder can now be togged off/on by double tapping the map
  • HUD 20mm gun-sight less cluttered when horizon ladder hidden
  • Helm gets a basic HUD showing nearby islands and compass course
  • Razorbill now able to carry a centre mounted fuel tank
  • Turrets can now be moved around by ground vehicles pushing.
  • Various CPU usage improvements

  • Bear cannon now has a range guide for the current target
  • Carrier and Surface RADAR can now indicate the direction of the nearest hostile RADAR source on the holomap.
  • Carrier and other units carrying RADAR show a map symbol on holomap, control and nav screens.
    If carrier radar is offline the symbol is red or damaged the symbol flashes red/grey.
  • Added support for the Resupply+ extension mod.

  • Fog of war
  • Needlefish rebalance (reduced simulated Radar range)
  • AWACS rebalance (~10-12km max range again for a better feel)
  • Manta rebalance (less deadly against carriers for more air combat)
  • Aircraft RWR sensor
  • Bomb enemy factories to slow production
  • Barge map/info will now warn when your barge has no delivery waypoints
  • Operator screen can show a list of active friendly units from the screen menu
  • Operator screen will show island type in command center tooltips
  • Loadout screen can now manage loadouts for units on a different carrier

If it can help. Revolution 1.3 (1.3.18) is much better lag wise. You can still notice it a bit but it's night and day compared to both 1.4 and 1.5. If I can do anything more. Let me know :)

Noticed the latest 8th of july patch and change notes. Checked the diffs in lua and noticed some performance increase via fast_sqrt and other radar changes, but unfortunately in a map full of turrets it's still pretty unplayable as the world lag is excessive. Perhaps having these many turrets was never meant or thought of...?

From a previous comment, I mentioned staggering when I loaded this mod.
Turns out, it goes away if I start a new game with this mod, and the staggering only occurs if I apply this mod to a game that I had already started. Dunno if that helps. I'm enjoying it! :steamthumbsup:

I'm having the same issue that Tenshi is having after installing the mod. I love the functionality of it, but I get staggering frame rates when moving about the bridge or ship, and when operating the periscope.:steamthumbsup:

I have sadly an issue with this mod, walking around the carrier causes micro lags and stuttering. Its only when i enable this mod. I wont include my specs because they are high end for latest games. any solutions? thanks

Hey. Rev 1.5 feels very nice. Especially all the QoL. I've been playing coop with a friend and we are close to 20 hours of save.

When playing a brand new world everything is very smooth. But on that save there seems to be world lag. Moving is very choppy (there's no frame decrease). The radar and depth sonar lines also move stuttery. We have some islands with A LOT of turrets. Could that be it?
