NYC Subway R36 Redbird

This is one of the famous "Redbird" NYC Subway trains, they ran untill 2003, The Redbird fleet of trains consisted of 1410 cars spread over 8 types of rolling stock.They were built by the St. Louis Car Company from 1963 to 1964 for the New York City Transit Authority, NYCTA for short. The trains were made for the IRT (Interborough Rapid Transit Company) "Worlds Fair Line", The 7 Flushing Line. Painted red from 1984 to 1989 to combat the graffiti that had been a problem since the 1970s. This set consists of 4 cars, Numbered histrorically correctly.
