Description


This submod requires the main mod. It collectively allows to access all features both from "Sigmar's Heirs" and base game providing full compatibility with all other mods. It also makes many mods compatible with various other mods included in my Empire collection and my [Overhaul] Expanded Skills. It is designed to work as well along my [Modpack] The Empire: Buildings & [Modpack] The Empire: Technology. This includes the following:
  1. Huntsman General is back in Reikland
  2. Starting with vanilla barracks and no provincial/electoral chains
  3. Starting with provincial units like in Sigmar's Heirs
  4. There is 1 military recruitment chain, provincial units moved to landmarks (list below)
  5. Industry buildings are brought back for compatibility with mods like "Armourygeddon - Unit Upgrades & Resources" or "Infrastructure - Tier Five Greenline"
  6. Shrine of Sigmar (warrior priest building) has been moved to new category "Religion" for compatibility with "Faith of the Empire" by Obo + unlocked at Altdorf too
  7. Reverted all 4 custom missions objectives added by Sigmar's Heirs back to vanilla including the below:
    - building walls to unlock Ulrika
    - Building Livery to unlock Theodore Bruckner
    - Building rewgular Forges for mission objective
    - maintaining regular gunners for mission objectives

Provincial units available from:
  • Reikland - main settlement building chain in Altdorf
  • Middenland - the Chapterhouse landmark in Carroburg
  • Wissenland - the Gunnery School landmark in Nuln
  • Ostermark - the Sigmar's Rock landmark in Mordheim
  • Nordland - the Grand Preceptory Knightly Order in Salzenmund
  • Solland - the Pfeildorf landmark
  • Talabecland - the Blazing House Chapterhouse in Talabheim
  • Stirland - The Moot Cauldron landmark
  • Averland - Provincial Barracks in Grenzstadt
  • Hochland - Provincial Barracks in Krudenwald
  • Ostland - Provincial Barracks in Castle von Rauken

You still have to build related buildings as secondary requirement in order to recruit the units (barracks for swordsmen, foundry for handgunners etc).

Mods not necessary with this mod:
  • Xou's Sigmar's Heirs and Dead's Empire Unit Pack Compatibility Submod
  • Guns of the Empire for Sigmar's Heirs compatibility submod
  • Guns of the Empire for Sigmar's Heirs - apparently there's two mods
    - important info: when not using any of the two submods to Guns of the Empire - you will not receive the "Stakes" unit ability for the provincial units added by Sigmar's Heirs.
  • Restored Landmarks removed by Sigmar's Heirs
  • Sigmar's Heirs - No Provincial Recruitment - you still start with provincial units, but not the building chains, units still available to recruit along the vanilla ones (current list above)
  • [Submod] Start with vanilla barracks for Sigmar's Heirs
  • Empire master engineer submod for sigmar's heir's
  • Expanded Roster Empire & Sigmar's Heirs Compatibility Submod

I have checked most of the features for Karl Franz and Reikland campaign. There can be mechanics expanding to other Empire factions, but those would be all Xoudads work and original Sigmar's Heirs feautres.

Hello ChopChop. First, thank you for this mod (and all others...), it gives an approach I do prefer of Xoudad's awesome mod.
I saw that you kept updating the mod by adaptating Xoudad's one. I had a question : are crusaders and expedition empire troops disabled or just planning to add them in future ? :)

Will this require update patch? Starting an empire campaign had became abnormally extremely unstable

hi, works fine but the new sally out function from the main mod seems to be on pause (restarted a reikland camp couse without ya mod the bruckner q was odd and so i had the difference) Dont know how tricky that would be for such a minor fault but just as an info, thx

Sigmar's Heirs LITE Submod - updated:
Removed the remaining 3 last provincial military recruitment chains from Averland, Hochland and Ostland, by creating 3 new semi-landmark buildings "Provincial Barracks" in:
Krudenwald
Grenzstadt
Castle von Rauken
The buildings don't have any special effects and they serve just purpose of recruiting the provincial units. Yet 😎
