Scion Convergence MES - Beta 0.9

Description
Introduction
This is Modular Encounters Systems mod that adds alien NPCs from Scion faction to your world. Spawns arent based on your threat score (how big ship you have), instead it spawns different enemies based what territory you're in. The further you go into the deep space, the more dangerous enemies awaits.

Build your own Planetary System with progression
This mod introduces a territory batttle-oriented progression. There are 3 zones in the game:
  • ISDF Territory - you're mostly safe here, no enemies around;
  • Scion Territory - this is the area in controll of the Scions. Don't go there, unless you have a large arsenal of arguments;
  • Battlezone - the transition zone between ISDF and Scion territories. This is where most of the action occurs.

Also there are 3 different difficulty levels. You start on level one. To advance to next level, you will have to find and destroy certain NPCs. Follow the instructions provided by Cdr Shabayev, Major Manson and Gen. Braddock to unlock the boss encounter. After defeating the boss, you advance to another level, expand the ISDF territory and push back the Scion territory.

Territories have different radius from the center of the world:
  1. Level:
    • ISDF Territory <= 160 km
    • Battle Zone <= 200 km
    • Battle Zone Width = 40 km
  2. Level:
    • ISDF Territory <= 50 000 km
    • Battle Zone <= 62 000 km
    • Battle Zone Width = 12 000 km
  3. Level:
    • ISDF Territory <= 80 000 km
    • Battle Zone <= 115 000 km
    • Battle Zone Width = 35 000 km

For an instance you start with level 1, the current ISDF territory is up to 160 km away from the center of the world. The Scion teritory starts at 200 km. By defeating the first boss, you advance to level 2. The ISDF territory expands to 50 000 km. The Scion territory now starts at 62 000 km.

You can build your own world by placing planets in different distances from the center of the world. By doing this you decide, which planets are easier or harder to reach. For example you place Eartlike in the center, so it's always safe. But the Alien can be 100 000km away, so it will be availavle only after advancing to level 3.

Check out the Biometal Wars scenario to see, how the world can be built around these MES mods.

This is Beta
This mod is in beta developement. Currently you can only advance to level 2. More updates are comming, introducing more NPCs, that will allow you to advance to level 3.

Additional Mods
Add ISDF Fleet. This mod will ocasionaly spawn some friendly NPCs from the ISDF, to help you fight off the enemies. The ISDF Fleet also has special Story Mode, where you can complete special missions and side missions.

Add Recolorable Thrusters by Darkmist and enjoy more alien looking enemies.

Some of the NPCs use Tank Track Pack: Morue provided by Righty. Shoutout to Digi and his brilliant framework.

This seems super cool. Thinking of making this the focus of my PvE server. If that's ok with you.

The zones were created with the possibility to change their radius by the administrator of the game, but unfortunately you can't change any zone radiuses now, due to some MES bug. This is the issue I'm trying to resolve.

I'll let you know if anything changes.

For now, the workaround for this is to set the SSG in a way, that it will spawn planets only between 0 and 12 000 km from the center, since currently you can only advance to level 2. Also make sure, there's at least one planet within 160 km, so you have done safe place to start.

Hello, is it possible to change the position of the start of the zone? I was hoping to use this mod alongside the Star System Generator mod, but then each planet is far within the depths of the Scion or Battlezone territories.
