I'm alive! So it would seem anyway.

New Mombasa / Halo City

This is my rendition of new mombasa streets and i've got alot to go through here so PLEASE READ!!

THERE WILL BE A COVENANT INVASION VERSION AND DAY VERSION COMING SOON, PLEASE BE PATIENT

This map is a passion project i've been working on for about 2-3 weeks now. The map has ground and air focus so pilots can do stuff whilst ground does stuff.

Map is located under Roleplay > rp_nm_halocity

Features
  • GM Room & Controls (Allows you to lock certain blast doors and to stop the music)
  • Some Enterable Skyscrapers
  • Big Skybox
  • Nav Mesh
  • WORKING Optican health stations
  • Animated textures
  • Direction signs can be removed
  • Ambient Halo 3 ODST music
  • Hidden Easter egg ;)
Q: Can I edit this map?
A: No, you can't, but what you can do is edit THIS [drive.google.com]map instead.

The VMF above is a simple layout. Don't be lazy, get creative with it. If you use this to make your own map, this map should be made Required Content. Any unauthorised edits will be reported and struck down. Seek prop creators permission before using.

Btw, GM room is located above the tallest skyscraper in spawn

I am aware there's alot of required content but this is to combat more storage. Most Halo servers have this content so if I was to mount it to the map, it would ironically make server content bigger and thus bigger for the player. I also don't believe in re-ripping already existing props. I am currently waiting on someone to finish a prop pack and it will eventually get lowered a little bit.

Trust me, it won't be conflicting mods. The easter egg is similar to the new Alexandria easter egg but it doesn't do the same thing.

Brother the only thing I can think of in relation to the games is with the buttons on the underside of buildings being a call-back to the easter egg in Reach with the building which changes falcons into pelicans and banshees into phantoms.
At this point I'm just going to blame it on conflicting mods (I have over 1000 enabled) and move on

Just trust me when I say this, If I was to give you any hint at all, it would give it away, just think about it a bit more, especially in relation to halo games. Even saying that I think I gave too much away.

There's literally nothing else I could find, there's nothing to think about, there's just two buttons on the underside of the buildings that don't have any response when you try to interact with them. There's nothing in the buildings with the elevators, nothing near the areas with the detour signs, anything. Congrats on making something harder to find than classic CoD zombies map eggs
