Description
Vanilla Weapons Expanded
Overview
Expands over the vanilla weapons adding more components slots, ammo, combat actions
Affected items
  • Unarmed and Unarmed Infected (now can be scrapped)
  • M24 (added side2 and side3 slots)
  • AA12 (added side2 and side3 slots)
  • MG42 (added muzzle and barrel slots)
  • M16, M14, Galil, G36, PSG1, M4, M41 (added side2 slot)
  • BarretM82 (added side slot)
  • Almost all core components
  • All affected items retain the same status as the vanilla (damage, bonuses, damage) except for one item, Tactical Device, now no longer illuminates the wielder but only illuminates the target at 3+ aim
Ammo changes
  • All tracer ammo adds "range modifier +1" for small caliber "+2" for large ones
    new ammo
  • Incendiary versions of 40mm grenade and mortar shell (sound effects are the same as molotov because I don't know how to change it)
Combat actions
- Almost all weapons now can use "unarmed" (it enables unarmed attacks because doesn't makes sense to me that you can't hit someone with the stock of your weapon, the aim animation looks like a point blank shot, but it will deliver a punch)

is there any way to raise head explosion chances for the BarretM82?

@MyOneGod thanks for the feedback, this is a common scenario that happens when you install the midgame, it's not worth fixing honestly cuz you can simply throw this weapon away, get a new one and will work as intended

Thanks for this mod! I was quite bugged by my trusty MP5 getting a red dot but no UV dot.

I did observe something strange when adding the mod. Before adding it, I've had a fully-modded M82, including a 10X scope. With the mod, I wanted to add the UV dot, but couldn't. It was displayed on the gun in the modification UI and listed as available, but for free. After confirming the mod, and leaving the modification screen, the UV dot disappeared. I could add it in a round-about way, however, by first switching to improved iron sights, which seemed to add the UV dot on its own. Just to be sure, I removed and re-added the UV dot before switching back to the 10X scope. Hope this helps in debugging :)
