Synthetic Queen Ship Set

Description
Hail to the Synthetic Queen

This mod adds in a new ship set done up in the style of the ships used by Cetana, aka the Synthetic Queen.

Features
  • Includes models for all standard ship types and stations. Ships are "sectioned" as well. (The sections are really just different turret placements on the model.)

  • All all megastructures are included and most have custom orange colored particle effects. The only exceptions are the Synaptic Lathe and Deep Space Citadel as these have fixed models and textures that don't change based on ship set and can't be set that way without overwriting some vanilla files.

  • This mod also includes a semi matching city set, room texture and Cetana's flag.

A couple of things to note:
The ships aren't animated like Cetana's actual ships, as in they lack the spinning/moving bits her ships typically have. This was a side effect of the kitbashing I did to make the set. The only exception is the colossus as it straight up uses her mothership as its model.

The other thing to note is a lot of the ships do look quite similar, especially the cruiser, battleship and titan. I tried my best to make them at least a little bit distinct, but I have only so much creativity when it comes to making kitbashes from not so many ship types.

The set also doesn't support NSC or any other mods like it. I personally don't use any of them. That being said, there is a NSC patch made by Fran if ya wish to use these mods together.

And lastly, sorry the ship set requires the Machine Age to be used. It does use assets from the DLC after all.

PS: I originally made this for personal use but ultimately decided to share it here on the workshop in the hopes that some folks might like to play around with it. So that said, thanks for checking out what is quite honestly my first real mod I've shared.

Aye, it's the same problem I have with the Synaptic Lathe. I would love to make a matching version for this set and my Hive FE set, but it just isn't possible without making some overwrites and I'm trying to avoid those as much as possible.

yeah that's my least favorite part about the deep space citadel
it doesn't suit any shipset

@Vez

Unfortunately no, the deep space citadel's appearance is fixed and doesn't change depending on what ship set you're using. As such I can't make a matching version for this set without overwriting some vanilla files.

ACOT changes the textures for the synth queen's ships to be black and green which is what resulted in the ships here being "green and dark" if you use ACOT with this mod.

That being said, the update I just dropped should resolve that as I integrated my own copies of the textures into my mod and set the ship set to use them. So the ships here should look as shown even with ACOT installed or any other mod that changes the synth queen's textures.

So how to make ships not be green and dark if i use this mod with ACOT?
