The new enemies are all good, though the Onis annoyed me on a few melee playthroughs due to how good they are at blocking.
The Shimmer is a cool idea, though there could be less of them in the stage. I've had multiple instances where I was worried the stage was broken because shimmers were chilling in random corners rather than engaging with me.
Phobia is pretty much unkillable with guns, but the big scary scythe makes melee seem like a bad idea. This might be an artistic "you have to overcome fear to kill this guy who is the embodiment of fear" sort of thing, though I understand why people might initially think he's impossible.
