Description
"The Superhuman"
------------------------------------------------------

Another Origin created with the goal of making something VERY powerful, yet VERY fun. This is the result of days of experimentation and learning more about how modding works, so I hope you guys can enjoy it! Let me know if there are any bugs beyond the ones listed here:

KNOWN BUGS

*Sound Breaker, and to a lesser extent MAG-Slam, are capable of sending characters out-of-bounds in certain locations. Pit Stop and tight indoor areas are rather prone to breaking from Sound Breaker, and certain Contracts which have you navigating catwalks can potentially be soft-locked if you MAG-Slam enemies on them and they fall out of bounds without dying.

*Issues have been MOSTLY resolved as of 6/7/2024, but don't do anything too silly if you suspect you could knock them off catwalks or out of bounds.

FAQ

Q. Where is the Sound Breaker?
A. Check your war-chest.

Q. Will you make the outfit unequippable?
A. Most likely not, but you have my permission to do it yourself if you know how. The reason being that it is part of the Origin's theme and aesthetic. Maybe I'll consider it in the future.

Q. Can you raise the encumbrance limit?
A. No, it's extremely low by design.

Q. Shouldn't it require more imprints?
A. I'm not going to put an imprint requirement on any of my individual Origins, because everybody has already played arena mode dozens of times and it'd mean many people would be forced to wait to test out my Origins if they downloaded them. They are zero imprint for convenience.

Q. It's overpowered/unbalanced!
A. Sure, but as long as it's fun and somewhat engaging, I've succeeded in what I set out to make.

Q. Can you make (X) thing or add (Y) feature?
A. Keep in mind I'm not a coder, and that I have a life beyond the modding. If the idea interests me I'll do what I can, and I appreciate cool ideas as long as they are within reason!

FEATURES

- Gestalt's MAG-Slam replacing shove and kick! Send your foes flying if things get too crowded! Also works with melee, meaning once you've activated Disquieted's passive, you can teleport into groups of enemies and ambush them with a powerful double-slam!

- An exclusive throwing weapon, the "Sound Breaker!" Not a weapon but a technique, use your prowess to obliterate foes and send the survivors soaring through the air! Careful not to use it point-blank, otherwise you'll be taking a trip to space too.

- Core animations default at Core 1 rather than Core 0, and reach up to (slightly altered) Hank's powerful strings instead of Core 3 as their final level! Unarmed currently has a unique heavy string at Core 3.

- Proficient in all skills! For Ranged, Acrobatics, and Melee, reach the required prerequisites and have access to their Focus skills! For Unarmed, you can unlock them as usual due to it being your Focus skill.

- Fists like bullets... or boulders? With sounds and effects to match. Try punching a wall, or listen to the satisfying crunch as you slam your fist square into an enemy's skull.

- Hold the heavy key and press interact (default SHIFT + E) near enemies to perform a command grab and headbutt them, temporarily sending them to the floor. Does a bit of damage, but most importantly can be used to strategically temporarily disable enemies such as when being swarmed or pesky snipers.

- Actual Half-Mag punch (not the watered down Massive version) used when charging Unarmed! Does not replace your melee charge attacks!

- Resist 50% of physical damage! However, you are too attached to your finely tailored clothes to take them off... Outfit, Shoes, and Gloves slots are locked, and your base encumbrance is very low! You can still wear things in all other slots, as well as colorize the forced clothing!

- An agile, aimed leap and slam replacing your forward-dodge once you reach Core 3 acrobatics!

- Stylish drop kick replacing dash attack! Heavy dash attack will tap into your inner CP9 as you leap through the air, striking enemies along the way.

- Immunity to being flinched or stun-locked!

Yup, I fixed the problem though. I just bought an extremely powerful explosive weapon and shot it everywhere until the person out of bounds died.

Hitting someone OOB is pretty common with this Origin, but it's fun regardless. Just be sure to bring lots of explosives.

Or better yet, be more careful where you send people.

I'm getting softlocked on the Club Advent stage. When I press the button, the door doesn't open. Is this a known issue or is this seemingly just a problem that I have?

the mod is a little broken,, i cant seem to get the headbutt to work, or the MAG slam.
Is there some kind of requirement im missing for those to work? the dash seems to be the only one that works just fine

Is this the mod what changes heavy dash attack into a ground body slam?

The stats are at their current numbers to offset the inherent strength of the moveset, which already does significantly above average damage and AOE. I found that when the stats were higher, it made the game less fun because you pretty much killed everything without even being able to combo if you wanted to

This origin is great but I feel it isn't really super human enough I think the strength and dexterity should be at least 25 not 16 while endurance is 18 which would be to busted and would make sense with the title of "Superhuman"
