This is a re-upload of my Graphical Mod for the Wood Elves Faction with a focus on bringing a more professional well armored feel to the Wood Elves army while also adding a more grounded feel to the mystical units. I decided to re-upload this mod with just the graphical changes for the best compatibility with other mods and future updates.

Firstly I want to thank Ole and his truly amazing Asset Editor[github.com]. I simply could not have done many of the changes within this mod if not for him. It is an amazing tool and if you're interested in creating your own graphical mods I cannot recommend it enough.

Another major contributor I want to thank is Kingmeatwad who taught me almost everything I have learned when it comes to Photoshop texturing and Lightroom. And soon... hopefully Blender.

Masked Mustachio for being awesome and answering all of my DB and Tables related questions.

A big thanks to Toumaï and Dindi for their help in creating custom animation sets. Proper officers and banners would not be possible without them.

can anyone make a standalone of orion i like the fay folk reskin more for the normal units but Orion looks sick here

Nice skins, sadly too many single edged swords for me.
Warhammer has remained a bastion of not giving in to the post jacksonian curved swords for elves nonsense, and I prefer to keep it that way.

@Aerys i totally agree, High elves definitely need a similar design like wood elves. Love these Wood elves skins nice work!

I always thought the Wood Elves should have more leather armor as they always seemed to emphasize movement and the High Elves were the more armored units. This is by far the best re-skin though for sure thanks mate.

I prefer the look of lord of the rings elves, and this scratches my itch for it so much.

So i got a very weird comparability issue. In MP co-op when trying to use this and the max level 100 hero and level 80 lord with x3 points mod, it prevents others from joining due to "incompatible versions". Also this is only in MP co-op not single player. Just thought I'd let you know.

Cpt. Uranhon - please be mindful of others artistic freedoms. We are free to use or not these graphical modifications, i think ppl appreciate what your trying to highlight - but the fact is this mod absolutly NAILS the target that many subscribers seem very much to share with Dietrich. And that is to add a fantastical and militaristic flair to the Wood Elves aesthetics that is NOT reflected in teh original factions art style. Taken along with the other 2 main reskins , we now have a choice to simply modify the original aesthetic, completely overhaul it but stay in the same general profile or wit htis mod, to replace completely the origianl artistic direction for one more militaristic, more intimidating and generally much more warlike.

10/10 for this DEITER - it is exceptional work and i regularly swap between this and other faction reskins depending on my mood for the latest WE play through. Thankyou.
