Description



Added a humanoid creature with high resilience and a separate energy bar, MoeLotl.

On a distant planet, there exists a thriving civilization evolved from the axolotl species known as the MoeLotl. These humanoid beings possess robust regenerative abilities and an innate power called "lotlqi," distinct from psychic energies. Originally flourishing, their homeland was devastated by the invasion of a mechanical race, forcing the MoeLotl to abandon their ancestral lands. As a result, a faction of the MoeLotl sought refuge on the fringe world where they established a new dynasty and began anew...





Advantages:
●The MoeLotl possess innate power within their bodies, thus introducing a new spiritual energy bar (LotlQi) to enhance various aspects of their mechanics.
●Through skills practice, they can increase their ability values and acquire deployable techniques.。
●They have a self-healing factor, allowing them to slowly regenerate body parts even when injured or missing.
●Their unique attire and some weapons interact with the energy bar, forming shields against long-range weapons and inflicting additional damage on enemies.
●They have powerful late-game battle armour and skills.

Disadvantages:
●Fragile bodies, resulting in very low early-game strength.。
●Existence of uncontrollable Mechanoids on the map leads to additional emotional penalties.
●Alchemy mechanisms are somewhat negative, with a single pill taking a long time to produce and consume.
●Special books are required to learn some new skills, and these books can only be purchased through trade caravans and factions.
●Advanced racial attire and some weapons depend on racial crops, requiring additional land cultivation and hydroponics or purchasing from factions.




Due to the MoeLotl's inherently fragile bodies compared to other races, they have developed a natural escape skill called "Tail Severance Survival" during their evolution. When facing danger, MoeLotl can use this skill to increase their movement speed and become invisible temporarily, allowing them to evade danger for a short period. ]Meanwhile, the dropped tail can be used as a key ingredient for a special MoeLotl dish! XD


The MoeLotl possess ancestral bloodline circulations that allow them to regulate blood flow and unleash their latent potential by consuming specially crafted pills. This ability, known as "LotlQi," enables them to release various unique techniques as they consume more pills.

However, excessive use skills can deplete their LotlQi, requiring a period of rest for recovery.





Advanced attire and certain weapons of the MoeLotl can interact with LotlQi. Specifically crafted spiritual garments can generate a shield capable of deflecting long-range attacks, continuously replenished by LotlQi. With ample LotlQi, remote threats become inconsequential. Additionally, some weapons enhanced with LotlQi can inflict greater damage and special effects.





If one wishes to practice skills, they must do so by consuming pills.The Heaven-Reaching Cauldron and Soul-Returning Furnace are essential alchemical tools for this purpose.
Inside the original drug manufacturing platform, one can find the formulas for these pills. Only the MoeLotl can interact with this building. MoeLotl extract residual aura from deceased creatures as fuel for the Soul-Returning Furnace, requiring the investment of bodies.


Each pill consumed by a MoeLotl increases their meridians level by one grade. These levels are planned as:first meridians, second meridians, fourth meridians, sixth meridians, and eighth meridians.
The way to obtain MoeLotl's skill book can only be through trade caravans and factions. At present, the MoeLotl can choose from five different style to study, each with five levels. At levels 1, 3, and 5, they will learn new skills, while each level enhances their specific capabilities.
Currently, the skills are divided into five styles: Thunder, Water,Fire and Blossom and Rock However, these styles are mutually exclusive.




Currently, there is only one type of emerald bamboo as a plant, which can be used to produce special bamboo fiber materials and pills for the MoeLotl.
Similarly, only the MoeLotl can cultivate this crop.



Equipment and clothing are categorized into three levels: normal wear, LotlQi garments, and battle armour.

LotlQi garments and armour possess the ability to convert LotlQi into shields, which are unaffected by EMP effects.

Is the character body type compatible with the original costume?
: Basically, there is not much difference between the THIN body type, and wearing the original costume would basically not be out of place.

Future plans:
The future has been confirmed to launch the MoeLotl Event expand, adding two MoeLotl storyteller (already installed) and appearing in the game as a special character, along with the two special characters, the player will experience special events rich in MoeLotl characteristics, and interact with the characters.

I have an issue that a friend on windows doesn't seem to have where I try to load just core+humanoid alien races+moelotl race, but it doesn't seem to generate pawns correctly with the wrong hair and sometimes an error x over their faces? but there doesn't seem to be any explicit red lines in the devlog when I launch the game in 1.6 on mac.

大佬好,我发现突然游戏里无法显示萌螈族的形象和种族了。开局选择萌螈族后小人就是普通边缘世界小人,健康里也没有之前的快速恢复了。只有萌螈的基因还在。您有什么头绪吗?

Same issue as Sakura. A lot of errors are thrown when the game launches if you have the Vanilla Expanded Framework mod.

@AzureStella Yes, we have planned to write a space-age moelotl faction for a long time, and will add new clothing and weapons. This will be an event expansion module, so there will be events and plot-related content. I will do my best to present the best results.
