[SV] Urban Defender Arsenal

Description

Welcome to my first mod!
The Urban Defender Arsenal features 9 firearms tailor-made for law enforcement and counter terrorism units. Inspired by western European counter-terrorist forces, they befit a colony where threats starts to arise from within.

These late industrial weapons are each specialized to offer highly skilled shooters with firepower that makes full use of their abilities. Balanced around the full suite of Vanilla Weapons Expanded firearms to fit between the late-industrial firearms and the charge weapons.

Requires Vanilla Weapons Expanded and Harmony.



Urban Defender Arsenal is balanced as an alternative to the Charger firearms of late-game. While overall less powerful, each firearm offers an interesting role and is less expensive to produce. These are guns that would only help a highly advanced colony, as without good shooters and good crafters, their power is only marginally better compared to their counterparts. Only a master crafter creating masterworks and a master shooter to wield them can make full use of their power.

These weapons require the research project Complex Industrial Firearms to be completed, available after Fabrication. Many of the weapons also require an associated VWE research project.

All weapons are produced at a Fabrication Bench, costing the same as their industrial counterparts while being much, much more labour intensive. For reference, the Assault Rifle takes 40000 work, Charge rifle 45000.











Q: What languages are supported?
A: English, French, Italian, German. If you want to make a language patch, I'll gladly share keyart for the thumbnail and the DefInjected.

Q: Is this CE compatible?
A: CE Patch thanks to Lotus Land!

Q: Safe to add to an existing save?
A: Yes, but removing may cause errors.

Q: Will the custom pawn clothes in the thumbnail be released?
A: The clothes in the thumbnail are modified versions of [JDS] EFT Clothing

Q; I like the idea but the textures are too detailed and don't fit my game.
A: I made a patch that includes simpler vanilla-styled textures that also renames all guns to the vanilla format:
