Description
Based on Crawling King Chaos' Skill Tapes mod, this mod serves to break the sets into their component parts. I have done this because some of the sets (Carpentry, and Cooking for example) are obsolete given they have been added into the vanilla game. While other skills may may partial series, or individual tapes associated, some of these do unlock new abilities at higher tiers, while others do nothing more than have the player's character "get better" at the task at hand.

Given that some skills are more valuable than others, I have endeavoured to extract these most valid into these new, seperate mods. This is the Mechanics set.

@Eric - all the Skill Tapes series have custom dialogue for the lolz. The following were originally written by Crawling King Chaos:

Farming, First Aid, Electrical, Metalworking, Fishing, Trapping, Foraging, Tailoring, and Mechanics

All the others have been written by myself:

Blacksmith, Butchering, Carving, Glassmaking, Husbandry, Knapping, Masonry, Pottery, and Tracking. I also included dialogue for the Combat Tapes set, and the Driving, Scavenging and Woodcutting sets I made to companion those mods.

Hi! Does this mod only add Mechanics VHS for the purposes of XP, or do they have custom dialogue to make them immersive and seamless with the vanilla tapes? Thanks!

Please note, if you are already subscribed for B41, and the tape is not showing in B42, please relaunch Steam. If that doesn't fix it (in most cases, it should) unsubscribe, and resubscribe to force an update. Steam is weird sometimes :S

Mechanics unlocks a bunch of different car maintencence tasks in addition to improving repair skill as it levels. In vanilla there are only 3 VHS skill tapes available - Carzone 1-3 which, is a drop in the bucket, unlike the copious amount of carpentry VHS, and decent number of cooking VHS in vanilla..
