Mini Save Our Ship 2
For Rimworld 1.5

--- Default Sos2 patches ---

1x1 shield generator minimum size reduced to 5 radius.

Sos2 stuffed compatibility.

1x1 laser, plasma, railgun turrets
5x5 laser, plasma, railgun turrets to match the artillery canon.
1x1 torpedo launchers.

1-wide spinals.
3-wide spinals.
11-wide spinals.

1-wide advanced spinals, armored with much more hp.
1-wide underbarrel spinals, able to be placed beneath hull and other spinal barrels.

Heavy ship guns, like spinal guns but functioning independent of capacitors. Also armored.
(Perfect for starship side-mounted guns)

Modular solar panels, able to be placed on ship hull floor and walkable.
Double-sided solar panel hull, for unique bridge gaps or efficient small designs.
Modular double-sided solar panel.

Solar hull, absorbs sunlight and also holds 5Hu / 5 heat units.
(So it also works as a very bad heatsink.)

1x1 heatsink, for better placement on larger ships, or for use on tiny drone ships, lower capacity.
1x1 coolant tank.
1x1 battery / ship capacitor, holds 500w
1x1 pilot, science, and tactical consoles.
1x1 cloaking device.
1x1 salvage bay.
1x1 hullfoam dispenser.
1x1 drone core.
1x1 satellite core (drone core which can go in the ground)
1x1 floor heat vent, for cluttered rooms which have no access to a wall.

1x1 "heatsinkbank" a science experiment of a heatsink and a coolant tank. Perfect for observation satellites.
1x1 In-hull coolant tank, a coolant tank which goes in the floor and beneath structures.

1-wide engines, including chemfuel, nuclear, and electric.
3-wide nuclear engine.

Electric engines, requiring JT-Drive research to be done but they consume no fuel.
Modular engines, able to be placed beneath structures and other engines.

Fusion reactors, much stronger than the standard fission reactor.
Produces 280,000w but requires nearly all the research. No fuel needed.

Look at ammo balance of the turrets added by this mod.

Make things stuffable in this mod and make a "Lite" version without it.
(Depends if "sos2 stuffed" is updated for 1.6 later on)

Updated. Apparently having the fusion reactor and starship cores be both power producers, and batteries at the same time produced a red error. I also removed conduits from all modular engines to get rid of the weird wiring issues. Research also has been updated and rebalanced. Modular engines can now be placed beneath anything regardless of the order.

There are a lot of glitches. For example, my console is flooded with red text about undrawn textures or something. None of the XL's cannons fire, they just consume energy.:rambro:

Apparently the electric engines had a "breakdownable" tag, this has been removed.
More bug fixes and detailing to come. Hopefully by the end of next week no red errors.

This mod will be maintained into 1.6
Main SoS2 1.6 indev is in progress and being tested on 1.6 btw
Currently both work fine on 1.6

I'll tinker with dropdown menus or perhaps a new category for some stuff, since this mod is getting larger than I originally imagined. Might put out a simplified version at some point.

Also put in 1x1 and 1x2 engines. (Note that all mini engines have less mass, so the thrust-weight ratio is higher due to less weight.)
