V2.0.0 update changelog:
  • Assets overhaul:
  • All monitors are now available as a components, that can be put on workshop, or be used in multiplayer
  • Old monitors are deprecated, but will be available in your old creations
  • Deprecation of borderless monitors in favor of flat ones
  • Deprecation of 2x3 and 5x3 highres monitors, as their pixels were too wide
  • Cost and mass rebalance to make more sense
  • Hi-res 2x2 monitor scale is now 2x instead of 3x (don't worry, this change won't affect your old screens)
  • Descriptions and tags fix
  • New screens:
  • 2x4-2x9 screens
  • 5x3 HUD
  • 15x27 monitor (because i can)
  • Embeddable monitor
  • v2.0.1-2:
  • Embeddable monitor is removed due to inconsistent CTDs
  • 1x3 flat monitor mesh fix
  • tags tags tags tags
  • v2.0.3:
  • True 1x3 fix
  • Embeddable monitor is added back (but im not 100% sure in this fix, so report any crashes)
  • Added 3x3 flat



Adds 43 new monitors and HUDs!
Components added:

Category
Screens
High resolution
1x1 monitor 3x scale, 2x2 monitor 2x scale, 1x1 hud 3x scale. They can be useful to put more info on small monitors
Flat
1x1,1x2,1x3,2x3,3x3,3x5,2x1 monitors. They can be useful to get rid of the borders, or put monitor in place, where it isnt allowed
Embeddable
1x1 monitor. Neat one! Looks like simple monitor, but can be placed inside of block. Unfortunately doesn't have touch output
Wide
1x4,1x5,1x6,1x7,1x8,1x9, 2x4,2x5,2x6,2x7,2x8,2x9. Can be useful as a bus displays or dashboards
Tall
2x1,3x1,4x1,5x1. Can be used as a mirrors or gunsights
Other sizes
5x5,15x27
Frameless HUDs
1x1,3x3
HUDs of unusual (but convenient) sizes
1x2,1x3,2x1,2x2,2x3,3x1,3x2,5x3



Note: Voxels behind 'high resolution' monitors are necessary; it is not possible to create such monitors without them, unfortunately, this is the only way

i cant wait to see the update and finally get huds on my creations :D
its going to allow me to still keep looking out the windows of my mobile base (really big and super complex) while still showing all of the information and touch support input :D

it would look really cool on alot of displays (i just hope the devs have enabled uploading creations with mods now because i if they are still disabled im gonna have a problem)

Nice idea, but I can't really tell when I'll release a mod update, or will I release it at all
I'm burnt out of Stormworks at the moment and have no motivation to play it or work on the update
maybe this state will pass in a month (or several), and then I’ll get back to it

it would be really cool to have big huds :D
