Indecisive Armoury - Forge World (IDA:FW)

Description
Forge World is our latest addition to the Indecisive Armoury collection, Featuring many weapons from across the Imperium Of Man from Warhammer 40k.
After creating a lasgun as a joke weapon for our Star Wars mod, we were hit with a sudden wave of inspiration (and demands) to make a stand-alone 40k mod. Now, after a month of work, it's here! We plan on adding more to this mod at some point in the future, but please understand that the Star Wars mod will take priority.

Current features include:
  • A big pile of lasgun
  • A couple laspistols
  • A couple bolters
  • A couple grenades
  • An bayonet

Things we plan on adding in the near future:
  • Melee Weapons
  • Plasma gun
  • Autoguns
  • Uniforms
  • Launchers
  • Weapon recolour varients
  • Chaos cultist weapon variants
  • Weapons from other 40k factions
  • and whatever else we come up with

This mod has additional functionality with ACE3 and Webknight's Improved Melee System. We recommend them for the full experience.

Additional Credits:
Toadie2K (Niarms): Reload Animations
Ranger (3AS): Heat Vent Effect
Webknight: Reload Animations

(The uniforms in the images aren't from this mod, they're from Departmento Munitorum and TIOW )

Damn, I've been wanting just a lasgun mod, and this delivers pretty well! Props to you and the crew.

weird, it doesnt happen with the tzeentch cultist lasguns

That's a problem with the bullets travelling with no drop. The gun tries to send the bullet up to account for the range the rifle is set to, but since there's no drop it never comes down. No way to avoid it unfortunately, since the game doesn't like when you set the range to zero

i found a little problem where most of the lasguns shoot 30-40 degrees upward from where im aiming

Soon (hopefully)

Greetings, when is this planned to be updated again?

Thank you for clarification I thought it was that but it felt weird nonetheless

@Nick you are correct, damage is based on the magazine size. largest = weakest damage, smallest = highest damage, medium = self explanatory. This was done so that every weapon could use the same ammo, but also deal different damage depending on the weapon.

@Fire_Victor [G4] @Sir Tiko see above ^

For those wondering about lasgun damage:

Large mags have the weakest damage, taking quite a few shots. This may be a cool balancing feature? I actually like this as it is.

Small and regular mags kill in two-three shots.

Reminds me of the hot-shots packs Guard marksmen use. Could be expanded out into a more defined feature, but it's dope as it is.

Ty guys for a wicked sick mod!

There seems to be inconsistency with the damage on the weapons I was testing and had one time take 32 shots to kill some one with armor then shooting the same spot 14 the next (these were both with armor with weapon raised) I was using the Kantrel Pattern Lasgun with standard battery. It seems to be the arm + armor of the character causing this.
