Description
A pack of content and entity classes to add cars, motorcycles, planes, helicopters and tanks to Garry's Mod.





Features
  • Duplicator/Advanced Duplicator 2 support
  • You can use the regular sandbox Color tool
  • No constraints are used for wheel physics
  • Comes with 7 cars, a bus, a truck + trailer, a ATV, 3 motorcycles, 2 boats, 3 planes and a tank
  • First person and GTA-like third person camera
  • Players can fall off motorcycles
  • Editable engine/transmission/traction properties for cars and motorcycles
  • Car headlights, reverse lights, break lights, horns and sirens for emergency vehicles
  • Separate chassis and engine health
  • Some vehicles can switch between weapons
  • Some aircraft can deploy flare countermeasures
  • Vehicle turrets are lag compensated (currently in a limited fashion)
  • All vehicles (except tanks) can be controlled with Wiremod
  • Show indicators while driving/flying near the skybox (invisible map walls)

Player settings
  • Camera sensitivity, distance, FOV, and auto-center
  • 3 mouse input modes for flying: Point-to-aim (LFS), Control movement directly (WAC) and Free camera (GTA V)
  • Custom key binds, manual gear shifting toggle
  • Change the volume for land vehicles, aircraft and explosions
  • Change the volume of all Glide vehicles when someone is talking on voice chat
  • Toggle tips, headlight shadows, automatic headlights, and many others

  • Homing Launcher SWEP, can also lock on any player on a seat

Remaking the AI paths isn’t the issue,the paths themselves are fine. The problem is Glide’s new throttle handling, which forces the AI to never run full throttle anymore. That limitation applies no matter how the paths are rebuilt. The AI was designed to adapt to any map once nodes were added, but now the update hard-limits behavior that previously worked perfectly. Before, the AI could actually open up and use full throttle, giving natural and dynamic results. Now, it’s crippled by design.

So no, rebuilding paths won’t fix something broken at the base level. The flaw is in Glide’s new throttle system, not the AI paths.

@ST0ZZERS Just because you don’t see me developing something publicly doesn’t mean nothing is happening, development is called under development for a reason. Not every project gets paraded around mid-progress. As for this throttle change: it wasn’t “clearly needed.” The previous system worked flawlessly, full throttle pathing was simple and reliable. A single Shift press toggled throttle modes; hardly rocket science, and easy enough for anyone willing to spend more than a few minutes learning controls.

What this update actually did was break existing AI setups and add unnecessary complication where none was needed. That’s not progress, that’s regression.

go into the settings then to keybinds and scroll down until you find it
