Lillie's Enhanced Militaria

Description
DISCLAIMER: THIS MOD IS A WORK IN PROGRESS

Lillie's Enhanced Militaria adds new items and mechanics, enhances textures, and rebalances vanilla military clothing and equipment. My focus is to create new items and rework existing ones to flesh out Project Zomboid's military aspects. Currently, most military adjacent clothing & equipment have been retextured to make them more accurate to their real world counterparts. Certain items such as the military canteen have been rebalanced to have a more realistic capacity, and clothes have had their stats changed to accomodate new items. For those that subscribed for the retextures there is now a module that will be exactly that. No new items, just retextures of the pre existing ones. This will also still have support for Spongie's Open Jackets, though I am working on making it unneeded.

THIS MOD ADDS:
- Interchangeable Camo Covers
- Mess Kits
- Cold Weather Equipment
- New Uniform Items
- Pant Blousing
- and More...

CONFLICTING MODS
I have not tested compatability with other mods on the Steam workshop. Though there shouldn't be any problems with mods that don't modify or add new or old military items. I'll update this description to include workshop items that aren't compatible with this as they come to my attention and or will do my best to mitigate any conflicts.

KNOWN ISSUES:
This mod is a work in progress, and as such there may be issues in its development. Currently there are only two bugs I know of, one being entirely cosmetic.
- The first being certain actions or items being labeled with a context menu prefix. This doesn't change gameplay at all, but I am hoping to fix it at some point if I can.
- The other is that cooking certain recipes in the mess-kit produces a duplicate tin. I've tested this with my mod disabled and it still occurs, so I can only assume it's a quirk of build 42.

FUTURE PLANS:
- NBC Protective Equipment
- Reworked Webbing Equipment
- Rolled Sleeves
- and way too much to realistically do...

I am not currently accepting suggestions, though bug reports are appreciated if they are kind.

@ranger_DLK_anti_bananas hey man, you're most likely thinking of the LBV-88. It was an assault, or grenadier load bearing vest that would replace the lc-2 straps. if you were a grenadier in the 70s-2000s, you'd wear an OD/M81 version of these to replace your LC-2 shoulder suspenders. Sometimes troops would be issued the assault variant, which had 2-4 magazine pouches on each side of the LBV, which again, you attached to your web belt to replace the suspenders. It, and eventually ALICE webbing altogether was replaced by MOLLE/FLC vests, IBAs, and laters IOTVs.
I do agree, in the early 2000s, Tan/Khaki alice webbing came into service, but saw limited use, only being deployed in Iraq and Afghanistan. Sadly this game takes place in 1994, the military just recently came back from LA.....As well the Gulf war. M81 alice webbing howsoever doesn't exist.

great mod

Suggestion: Have the USGI mess kit only act as a frying pan, and the canteen cup act as a soup/stew pot. I've cooked up a package of instant ramen noodles in the cup IRL many times when going on day hikes, and the mess kit is not tall enough to act as an actual pot but will work just fine as a pan.

Hey @Lillie, are you planning to rework ALICE like this
TheBromgrev 8 Jun @ 1:36pm
Bug: using the new "pot" item, aka the USGI mess kit, to make an omelet duplicates the pot.

@french_toast it 100% does exist but it's not as common as the olive stuff i got issued a dpcu allice webbing set from the late 80's here in aus and the us does have m81 webbing as well

hey uhh, just a suggestion but you should make it to where there's only the OD green alice webbing in this mod, as camo alice webbing doesn't exist
