But it didn’t work as expected — did I misunderstand something?
But applying the same approach to tank_chassis.txt doesn't seem to work.
It's very confusing to me, since it looks like tank_chassis.txt should allow UTTNH_2.0 to override RT56.
This mod works fine with UTTNH_2.0 alone, so the issue seems to lie with RT56.
However, after checking tank_chassis.txt, I still can’t figure out what’s going wrong.
So, not my problem, talk to the UTTNH people. I think we're done here.
its only for modern and light tanks post 1955, any previous one's models are fine (like the 1950 or 1945 tanks)
playing United States however the same issue happens with the USSR where it just defaults to the T-55 model.
for example; i spent enough time to research the M1 Abrams, but instead of giving me the Abrams model it just decided to give me the Patton for the tank.
Happens on all versions, but specifically the fix version.

First off, what "models" 2-d, 3-d, on the map, the blueprints, which models?
Second, which of the 3 UTTNH versions are you using?
Third, what country are you playing?
Since all three UTT versions are now multiple months and fix/updates behind the base game, I'll look at it - after you give me better information - but no promises, not wasting my time on outdated versions.

Start a game with -debug turned on and just UTTNH and take a look at the error log, you will see why I say this.
