City Center

This intersection now has a much larger version.

I am a big fan of the circular city design surrounding a large downtown area, and while some of the 8-directional roundabouts I experimented with looked nice, they weren't quite what I was after. Either being too small or not having connected zone power between outer and inner sections.

So I decided to make my own to fit what I needed for my city's centerpiece.

The City Center is a massive roundabout design that has 8 branching avenues going to different parts of the city. The center itself has zoning space for whatever growable buildings you want to place, or for some of the small to medium sized landmarks.

Surrounding the center area are two 6 lane, one way avenues that go around in opposite directions while a complex of pedestrian walkways allow access to various parts of the intersection to avoid the criss-crossing traffic.

All roadways should (hopefully) be fully upgradable without having to remove existing pieces.

Being as large as it is the intersection is expensive to place and requires a good-sized flat area of land.
