Wellington Monument, Dublin, Ireland

Description
The Wellington Monument 62 metres high. The tallest Obelisk in Europe. The 4 bronze friezes/panels were cast from the cannons captured at Waterloo. It sits at one end of the phoenix park, a very large walled city park. A favorite play area when I was a kid in Dublin.

If you like it, please rate, it will give me the incentive to continue.

Hi lennyb I was just wondering, since during the summer you mentioned to me that you had another Irish asset that you had started, whether or not you had finally finished it.

I'm liking this a lot. I put it in my nice downtown with some plazas around it and such; makes it look nice.

Sounds great, looking forward to it. It's great to see Irish mods appearing.

Hi Sean, I did start work on another Irish asset but RL keeps getting in the way. Hopefully I will have time to finish it this week. The customs house is definitely worth giving a go, I love that building (need to start finding photos). There is a lot to choose from... a Georgian terrace would be nice to try as well... I'll see how time pans out over the next few weeks.

So happy to see Irish landmarks appearing in the workshop. The likes of Leinster House, The Four Courts, The Customs House and Dublin Castle would be great additions too if you were looking for ideas. Georgian Dublin would be amazing to recreate.
