The Empire State Building is an Art Deco style, 103 floor skyscraper in New York City. Built in 1930-31, it surpassed the nearby Chrysler Building to become the tallest building in the world at 1,250 feet. An antenna mast was later added, bringing its overall height to 1,454 feet, or 443.2 meters.

NOTES:

- I know the poly count is quite high. This is the result of balancing detail and texture space. I wanted the most detailed model I could get, representing as many features of the real building as I could, with fairly decent textures, while also keeping it as low poly as possible. This resulted in a model that originlly came out to about 41,000 tris. This was then reduced to nearly 38,000 by making the windows and window crowns entiry 2D.
- While the poly count is high overall, its weight, or tris per square meter/tile, is 60, which is well within acceptable limits, especially for a building that takes up such a large area.
- I made an observatory entrance only on the east side of the building, with the west side plain, which can be placed against other buildings, just as in real life.
