Hello everyone! This mod has been updated!

Hi guys,

This is a simple mod which does exactly what you think it does. It adds standard bearers to cavalry units! In vanilla standard bearers only appear in infantry units and none exist for cavalry. I don't see any reason for this as cavalry units did indeed have standard bearers in real life.

History aside I find that this mod adds a bit of flair to the cavalry units and makes them look much better, especially since their standards are held higher and stand out very well with cavalry's smaller unit sizes. In a cavalry v cavalry fight you can see the two opposing standards bobbing and weaving over the fighters, which is a nice detail to see when you zoom in to see Total War's great animations!

This mod should be compatible with everything, including unit mods and reskins.

So this mod is not compatible with bigger overhaul, such as FOTE I undertand?

Also if you are using an overhaul like that you are usually not supposed to use other mods (especially not on Radious since he makes it so that it is very difficult for other mods to be compatible). If you want to use other mods then you should install them individually nd have a large collection of mods. This also means you can pick exactly what you want added and it's why most people don't use major overhauls.

I agree with Sebidee, Radious mod is not really that great...yes it does have some nice aspects like not razing for AI, but you can get those good stuff individually from other mod makers.

I used it once, didn't like it at all. I don't have time to try and make things compatible with his mod since most of the incompatibilites it causes are put there by design.

Radious is a huge and widely used mod. Could at least test it if you want more people to use this, as it will assure them.
