Survival Enhancements

Hello everyone, this is a new big mod for Medieval Engineers, that is going to radically change your survival! Survival Enhancements is adding a small set of voxels to your world, that include materials such as Iron and Copper. You can easly mine those new materials and get different ore types for each one of these. These ores can be then refined to the bonfire in ingots and finally ingots are going to be used to build items such as iron tools or other small blocks that have metal pieces on its model.



This mod has been made to improve your survival experience, as requested from my friend Androox and the guys from Quebec FR/ENG Server (Server Group), and it will be soon updated with more realistic and advanced stuff, to further enhance your survival experience. Forget crafting tools with stones, this is the Iron Revolution! :D


- New Voxels: Iron, Copper, Silver, Gold
- New Ores: Iron Ore, Copper Ore, Silver Ore, Gold Ore
- Ingots: Refining in the campfire for Iron, Copper, Silver and Gold Ingots
- More Durable Pickaxe
- Ingots used in blueprints
- Compatibility with other survival improving mods


This mod is compatible with the "No Grass Castle" mod from MechanizedIT and the "Wheat NGC Mod". In order to make it work along with those mods, be sure that this mod foregoes in the mod list the two other mods (For local games), put it at the bottom of the list on Dedicated Servers.


I may advice that in order to improve your survival, the map that you play on needs to have these ores added, otherwise you would not be able to craft block with metal parts. Finally a new map made by Androox is available and ready to go! Survival Enhancements (World) If someone could possibly make new maps using these voxels, please do them and let me know when you are done!


These are biome values for who makes map using a world generator and I don't know how the hell to do that :P Just follow this guide from Jugbot and also this guide from KeenSWH.

- Iron Ore 129 - 132
- Cu Ore 133 - 136
- Ag Ore 137 - 140
- Au Ore 141 - 144
