The addon in question is an content pack with the models, materials, sounds, etc

So without it, its just the scripts

The next planned fix attempt will be to break these items into smaller sections, and see which ones if any still cause issues!

Why would you make this addon a requirement still if its been confirmed it causes Garry's Mod to be virtually unusable on every branch of release

I've been able to reproduce this on a local machine,

That said, I can back up the problem with loading resources in chromium branches

Disabling the model pack, or downloading the files with GMAD.exe (stock with gmod) fixes this issue on said branches

A work is in the fix!
