Description
Finally a proper "1080p" mod for CKII!
Some parts of the interface just feels small and cramped, especially when you have to scroll through long lists of vassals, potential bride, decisions etc. This mod extends the size of different parts of the interface enabling more info to be displayed on the screen at once, and as a result reduce your need to scroll all the time.

Mod Features
  • Extended size of most parts of the interface, to take full advantage of the 1080p screen height.
  • Character finder, vassal lists, prisoner list, decisions, available plots, descisions and a range of other list are now extended, making you able to see more info on the screen.
  • The The numberrow keys are added as keyboard shortcuts for the internal tabs within the character, council, law, military and plot windows, making UI navigation much quicker.
  • Integrated shortcuts from Arumba's Keyboard Shortcuts. In addition to adding some shortcuts of my own.

Requirements, Patch and Ironman
This mod requires a resolution of at least 1920 x 1080, or higher.
Screenshots are 1080p.

Compatible with patch 3.3.0
Fully compatible with Ironman and achievements.

MOD Compatability
Should be fully compatible with any mod that doesn't change any parts of the interface gfx backgrounds or modify the *.gui files.

Keyboard Shortcuts added
These quality of life keyboard shortcuts are added in addition to the ones from Arumba's Keyboard Shortcuts.
If you have no need of an extended interface, but want to use these shortcuts, use my standalone keyboard shortcuts mod: Internal Tabs Shortcuts.
- The numberrow "1"-"6" selects the different subtabs within the Character, Council, Law, Military and Intrigue views. Window spesific: * Title view: - "1" & "2" selects/deselects the list of title claimants & the title history - "x" toggles de jure listing of the current title * Character view: - "7", "8" & "9" opens the focus selection window, the "dynasty tree" & the"realm tree" - "v" toggles fullscreen of the realm and dynasty trees. - "x" opens up the treasury while "c" equips/unequips the selected artifact * Council view: - "x" toggles the display of commanders only - "v" toggles commander Auto-assignement * Intrigue view: - "v" toggles "auto invite plotters"in the My Plots tab & toggles "auto stop plots"in the Known Plots tab - "x" selects the invite plotters window in the My Plots tab * Faction view: - "x" opens the list of available factions, while "z" closes it. * Province View: - "x" opens/closes the Extended Province View (i.e. the Hospital / Fort / Trade Post window) - "v" opens/closes the "Allied Order: Siege" window. - "b" toggles crown focus in the selected province * Society Wiew: - "1" & "2" opens the list of available Societies & the list of Society Members * Other: - Added "b" and "n" as shortcuts for previous and next page when reading the chronicle. - In the "Pick Era Screen" (when you start a new game) "z" is "back", "c" is "Costum Game Setup", "v" is "start game"

Alternative compatability versions

This mod does not alter font or fontsize, to increase the fontsize use a seperate mod like Interface: Century Gothic.
This mod does not scale the UI for high resolutions, only extends the size of the intehrface to show more info and limit scrolling.

Please update this mod for 3.3.5.1. UI scale isn't really a substitute—it fixes everything being microscopic on a 4K display, not things like displaying too few people in the marriage window or the court listing on a 1080p display.

Thank you, i adore this game.. the small screen, so much stuff you just get used to.

"It would be nice if" wait.. 'envy is the sin of idolatry' so, idolatrizing idolatry. Double-whammy right there? anyway, thanks for making this!

I'm playing on a 4k laptop, and A Bigger Interface doesn't work at all (strange empty window space) at 2x interface size. I think this is no longer needed. Just go in the game options and set the size there or edit settings.txt : gui_scale=1.000000 to gui_scale=2.000000
