G.I. Joe Insignias (Obselete)

*** Works fine with War of the Chosen, using updated torso mods ***

******* My local version of this mod is broken. I will publish a new and updated when ready, it will add a couple of new things *******


This mod adds shoulder insignias and vehicles decals as country flags for G.I. Joe and Cobra characters. Most of those are homemade, based on Ron Rudat’s designs from packaging art, the cartoon series and the comic book series.

Those are not supposed to appear in the recruiting pool and must be selected if you want to use them on a character. The UI flag remains the classic G.I. Joe or Cobra logos, depending on the character.

Currently featured G.I. Joe character insignias: Flint, Lady Jaye, Barbecue, Dusty, Shipwreck, Mercer and Snake Eyes
Currently featured Cobra character insignia: Storm Shadow, Crimson Guard and Night-Viper
Currently featured G.I. Joe vehicle insignias: Sky Striker and Snow Cat

Note: Some alternate versions are included

All original logos belong to Hasbro. I believe this would be considered fair use.

IMPORTANT - My local version of this mod is broken. Modbuddy and/or Windows 10 prevent me to access the folders. I will publish a new mods in the near future to replace this one. I will then delete the current version. Sorry for the inconvenience.

hey man, just checked and still nothing with Storm Shadow and Snake Eyes. (all the others work just fine!)

oh for sure, I understand and that's great as far as the general insignia in the flag part of their character info.
Storm Shadow and Snake Eyes definitely are missing the flag (it is now a little colored 'IMG?')> I can check later as I'm at work currently.

Thanks! When it is the classic GI Joe logo in the Ui, it is intentional. Whichever outfit they are in, they are still part of GI Joe (or Cobra in some cases). I wish to do the same for the other flags (Marauders, Tiger Force, Nija Force etc.) because of this. Also, the details of those flags do not always look good in the UI.

Thanks for pointing out the IMG thingy. I will take a look as soon as possible. If you could point out which ones, that would be very helpful. :-)

great mod! one small quibble, some of the insignia do not show on a flag part of the character screen (little IMG thingy shows up instead). some others are just generic GI JOE which is just fine! (in particular Storm Shadow and Snake Eyes do not have a flag)

I was thinking of existing ones, but custom insignias would be great! I'll think about it. Maybe I'd put them in a different mod if we end up with lots of custom insignias.
