Gorge Run

Its not a race against players but a race against the clock. Its a time trial / obstacle course / puzzle / Ninja Warrior environment for Gorges. You join as a Gorge and the timer starts. Your goal is to travel to the end of the course in the least amount of time. The mod keeps track of the top times for that map.

Type grstats in console to see the leaderboard.

If you want to work on a piece of a map I would gladly compile bits into a full course. Think cool slides, puzzles and jumps and stuff for a Gorge.

Updated to run with build 341

Updated to run with build 327.

Change Log:
Reverted drop structure energy cost to vanilla amount.
Reworked timer logic to avoid bug.
Changed stats log make to <mapname>.grstatsV2
Cleaned up some HUD elements

I Updated the stats to keep track of players instead of times so each player only shows up once on in the top ten list with their best time. Unfortunately this requires deleting the old maps grstats files.

Gorge Run

You join Aliens and start as a Gorge and a Gorge Run timer starts and your goal is to travel to the end of the course in the least amount of time. The mod is designed to be run with Gorge Run maps (gr_ ). The first map gr_sowbelly is a test map I cobbled together with existing stuff to see if the mod even works. I want to try to make more involved maps that I hope are challenging and Gorge related of course. If any of you mappers want to work on just a piece of a map I would gladly compile any bits into a full course. Think cool slides, puzzles and jumps and stuff for a Gorge.
