BFE Netricsa Resource Set for SSHD

Description
Adds variants of BFE Monsters and Weapons with classic Netricsa entries for mappers to use in TFE/TSE HD!

IMPORTANT:

For Players: This is a resource pack! It's up to map authors to add these to maps!
For Mappers: Please read the instructions below!

=========================

By default, BFE monsters and weapons are added to Netricsa if they are killed or picked up in the TFE/TSE gamemode, but they show up invisible with no name, model, or description.
This mod aims to remedy that.

It adds new puppet and weapon variants (that are the same as BFE's, aside from Netricsa entries) that mappers can use to properly add the monsters and weapons to TFE/TSE's Netricsa.

To use the new message variations!

=========================

Option A:

Simply set your legged puppet or what-have-you to one of the new types in 'SliWhist_Stuff' and use the same behaviour files as vanilla!
It's all set up from there!

For weapons simply use one of the item types in 'SliWhist_Stuff'!

Option B (If you're converting a map from BFE to TFE/TSE or need to keep puppet/weapon settings):

Open your puppet params and set Netricsa Message to the proper option from 'SliWhist_Stuff'!
I don't fully recommend this as you'd have to do this to every enemy of that particular type, but if you're the patient type, I won't stop you!

You can do the same thing for weapons, too!

=========================

Known Issues in Q/A format!

=========================

Q: Why can't I find these things in the editor?

A: If you can't find the 'SliWhist_Stuff' folder, check your 'Serious Sam Fusion 2017\Temp\SteamWorkshop' folder and open the text file within. It should be something like '$C:/Program Files (x86)/Steam/steamapps/workshop/content/564310/'. If it isnt, that would be why these aren't showing up.

Q: Why do some enemies react wrong or weirdly to HD weaponry?

A: This is the case in regular BFE when using TFE/TSE Weapons as well. It might be fixable, but I wanted these to be as 'vanilla' as possible.

Q: Where's the Sirian Bracelet?

A: The bracelet is tied to BFE's hands, and TFE/TSE enemies (probably) don't react to it anyways.

Q: Why do enemy sizes seem off?

A: I've noticed that the BFE Gamemode Sam is a bit shorter than TFE/TSE Sam. I'm sure this is fixable as well, but again, I wanted to keep things 'vanilla'.

Q: Where is the Witch-Bride?

A: It's in there, but I don't actually know how to make a killable Witch-Bride. That puppet is provided in an untested state, so use it at your own risk.

Q: Where is the Reptiloid or Scrapjack Boss?

A: I wanted a bit more compatibility, so I excluded them. In the Reptiloid's case, you could just use the TFE/TSE variant. In the scrapjack boss's case, I'll see about adding it in a separate pack (alongside the reptiloid).

Q: Why do some of the monsters flicker in Netricsa?

A: Serious: I don't know. Theoretical: Some BFE monsters have a different model in Netricsa, so that could be related?

Q: Why are the Netricsa grids and monster/weapon models the wrong size?

A: I was lazy™

=========================

Thanks/Credits to SSHD Ultimate Enemy pack, which I pulled some of the monster sizes, metabolisms, etc, from because I'm uncreative.

Just, this is not a "Future". It's a present

Would you also thinking to add descriptions for custom SS3 enemies (such as enemies from Solais's URP) too?

@Maksman I'd love to be able to, but right now the most I can figure out how to do for BFE's nettie is change the name entries. I'm going to keep making attempts though, since it would be nice to have content show up right in both games.
Maksman 25 Jun, 2017 @ 6:17am
so do think you could do a viceversa with HD content for BFE nettie.
