Stats and PLEASE ADD THIS
Im not sure if this will be a new pda thing or something but tjis would be so cool in real game i guess some stats could be....

Cons

-Lower weapon switch speed

- 10 maximum HP

- Slower firing speed on all weapons

-Has battery 10 metal every 5 seconds *Would be made so you can't just put down and bring back up every 5 seconds*

-Build Sentry and Dispencer slower

Pros

-Get alert on the screen and outlines in red or blu showing where spy is if u look invis or disquised spy

-Can place cameras on walls you can switch to by pressing mouse 2 or other button *cant attack while on cameras* The cameras have same green effect and you can watch for enemies or spies coming to get yah!

-Builds teleports faster

good idea but maybe that you get than a "mini-map" on a side of your screen and that you can see all the enemy's and the "good"players but you maybe than can not build a dispencer or sentry or teleporter

I hate the idea of it detecting cloaked spies, Spy is engineers counter Giving him a tool that blocks his counter will make him OP and it would become game breaking if multiple engis use it with their sentry nests

This item could maybe be used as like a more a detector engineer or security engineer where it builds cameras and maybe a camera station where other friendly engineers can use to see but you can't build sentries, dispensers, or teleporters. The camera station should have a energy source like a generator An engi can build only 6 cameras and only 1 camera station. If the camera station is destroyed or sapped, the cameras are disabled. If the cameras detect an enemy, it will do an alarm noise from the camera station. If they see a spy that is disguised, it will do an alarm noise but it is quiet so only people close to the camera station can hear it. You can also see the spy's outline to see if it is an enemy. If the spy is cloaked, the camera can't detect the camera. Spy's can sap the cameras and if you go to the camera, it will show a static and it will say in the corner that it is being sapped. Also, you can build cameras from level 1 to 2 to 3. Level 1 cameras can be built if the camera station is level 1. These cameras are basic, they can only detect enemies but not disguised spies or cloaked spies. Level 2 cameras can only be built if the camera station is level 2. Level 2 cameras are like level 1 cameras but they can detect disguised spies. Level 3 cameras can only built if the camera station is level 3. Level 3 cameras are the highest upgrade and they can detect all kinds of enemies, they will give full alarm if they detect any enemy. While this item is equipped. You have a map of the enemies and friendlies. Disguised spies are shown as friendlies. Cloaked spies are not shown. Cameras build slower than a dispenser and you can't attack while looking through a camera. Cameras have a small amount of health. The camera station has about the same amount of health as a sentry. The camera station builds even slower than a camera and you move slower than normal when you move it. The camera station has a big screen showing the camera screens. If you go near it, you can press a certain key to cycle through the cameras. If no cameras are built, it says no camera. There is a cosmetic keyboard and control panel. If an engineer is using the camera station. It will show him using the control panel and keyboard plus looking at the camera screen. There is another screen showing the health of each camera and the health of the camera station. It also shows if a camera is being sapped. It will show error on the screens if the camera station is being sapped. If the camera station is destroyed, it will actually do explosive damage. So stay back if it is going to get destroyed. The generator is a big power source that powers the camera station. The camera station won't work if the generator is sapped, not close by, or destroyed. The camera station will say no power if the following things happened or happens. The generator builds about the same speed as the camera station. The generator can only power the camera station if they are the same level.
The generator has a power bar on a screen. It goes up when it gets leveled up. The generator will show a team colored wire if it is near a camera station.

That is my idea of what it could do. Even if the item doesn't get these stats. I'm still sticking with them. I wish for this item to change the engineer in a big way. Like how the gunslinger can change the engineer into a battle engineer, this item can change the engineer into a security engineer. The gunslinger makes the engineer an offensive class. This item might change the engineer into a different kind of defensive class.

Here is my idea:
Replaces the teleporters with a camera and screen
The camera will automatically follow the most dangerous enemy and highlight it, showing its outline through walls to the rest of the team. The engineer that built it can see the camera's view in the top right of the screen. And other teammates can see the camera's pov through the large screen that replaces the exit.
It would make a welcome addition to any Multi-Engineer Nest, I'd imagine.

Pro's

+Can Place cameras, on wall and floors
+Cameras Detect invis' Spys if the spys are standing still and are in the radious of the camera, and other classes, Outlining them for the allys to see
+If the enemys stay in the radious of the camera for too long, they take minicrits
Makes A Camera station that replaces the sentry slot, can use the station if you click middlemouse from anywhere in the map


Con's

-Can not build sentrys
-You can't do anything while Switching through the cameras
-Small camera Range



The PDA can also outline Enemys, but if you do that they won't take minicrits

what if this was a secondary weapon replacement that couldn't be fired but instead can be used to see through a spy's cloak and disguise. for balance you can't attack while it's equipped and it has a slower switch speed.

Edit: wow, my stat idea was incredibly overpowered. here's a better one:
slot: PDA or secondary
cons:
-buildings are less durable and efficient (build the same, but shoot, dispense, or recharge slower)
-slowly drains metal while active
Pros
-can detect cloaked/disguised spies, may possibly also have x-ray capabilities, but with a limited range.

this is what i think this should do:
+building comeback as scrap beasts, these beasts can track down enemies, move around, and fuse with other buildings, and attack-dispensers and teleporters included
+sentries can now walk around
+dispensers now take ammo from enemy spies
+teleporters can now grant 1 second of invisibility
-buildings deploy 25% slower
-10% damage
- 5 second fusion time
- takes 25 more metal to upgrade

Stylistically its appearance doesn't fit, and the ability to see through cloak would just be no fun for spies to play against.
