[v.5] FPS problems on macbook pro 15'' 2012 - (unit details?)
I loved the mod on pc, but Nowadays I can only play on a macbook pro 15'' mid 2012.
While the game plays perfectly on ultra settings while playing vanilla, if I use Darthmod FPS drops significantly: the game is barelly playable only if I set "Unit details" on Low...
I runned different tests with others settings but the problem seams to be confined with the unit details setting... even lowering the unit size to the bone will not help.

Is there anything I can do to to solve this problem and be able to use the mod?
I am using the stam version of darthmod shogun 2 v.5

PS= The mac plays very well shogun 2 vanilla on ultra settings and rome 2 vanilla on high settings...

Got the same issue. Somehow, the units are messing up too much with my FPS (but my MBP is more recent/better config than yours, probably), so I have to play without the mod.

Also, I got this annoying sound issue and I don't know where to put the fix file...

It is probally a problem with outdated graphic card software. Try looking if there is an update available, if not try to look for a different render method. For example directx9 instead of 10 or 11.

I found the solution... throw your macbook pro out the window and get a PC

all you have to do is follow the instructions in the darthmod workshop page, follow the link, download the sound fix, copy and past into the data folder iin your total war shogun 2 folder.

if you don't know where that is let me know
