As of current, the mod allows avali to walk/live on temperate forests un-augmented.
It also allows them to walk through water, something that would cause severe 3rd degree burns acording to lore, seen here. http://avali.wikia.com/wiki/Avalon
Any un-augmented avali should not be able to survive in anything warmer than 32 ferinheight, and should start to burn should the temp get warmer than freezing.
Water, also, should cause burns, as water to avali is practicly lava.
To counteract these things, a system of augments should be implemented, and im willing to help with this. On a side note, chocolate, is poison.

I have yet to attempt to balance out temprature for the Avali, but I do intend to.
I am still working on this mod in my spare time, I just find that I don't have a lot of it at the moment.

This may be a minor nitpick, but Avali are canonically three feet tall as well. Perhaps they could be slightly resized ingame for realism?
Again, it's been a pet peeve of mine ever since I've read the lore, and if it's not a priority I understand.

Yeah, same here, its kinda weirding me out with how tall the avali are compared to human in terms of spritage.

I think that as long as its suggested somewhere that space faring avali have base-level augments for terran environments such has human colonized rimworlds that would be good. even something simple would go a long way. Then perhaps Avali can have a preference for (relatively) cold terran environments without being completely unable to survive in other areas.

If you do add balance to make their body's affected by temperature or environment; will you also be making some kind of augment to allow them to be able to live in places they wouldn't normally be allowed to live in? There is the other Avali mod, which does have such a thing, but I don't like how it's impossible to add it to an Avali when you start the game with Prepare Carefully. If you could do that that would be great, because I always love starting out with an Avali character but I don't like starting in cold environments because I can't ever get used to making sheltered farms right off the bat.
